• How do I enter a project or product?

  There are two ways you can enter an architecture project or building product at the Archello Awards. If the project or product hasn’t yet been published on the Archello website, the steps described at 1.1 need to be taken. If the project or product has already been published on the Archello website, only the step described at 1.2 needs to be taken.

  1.1 Entering an architecture project or building product at the Archello Awards is straightforward but requires several steps:

  1. Log into your personal account at the Archello website or create a free, personal account;

  2. In your personal account, found under your profile picture or avatar, select the brand for which you want to enter a project or product / connect to that brand / create that brand if you can’t find it on the Archello website;

  3. In the brand’s dashboard, go to Projects or Products and select either ‘Add Project’ or ‘Add Product’ and upload all required information.

  4. Follow the wizard in which you enter all information on the project or product to the end and then select entry to the Archello Awards;

  5. At the page where you can enter projects and products at the Archello Awards, look up the project(s) or product(s) that you want to enter, select the right category or categories for each, pay the entrance fees, and you’re done.

   

  1.2 If the architecture project or building product has already been published on the Archello website, simply go to archello.com/awards and select ‘Enter Now’. At the following page look up the project(s) or product(s) that you want to enter, select for each the right category or categories, pay the entrance fees, and you’re done.

• How do I enter a firm?

  To be able to enter an architecture firm or interior design firm to the Archello Awards a profile for that firm must have been set up and been published on the Archello website. If the firm doesn’t yet have a profile on the Archello website, follow the steps described at 2.1 to set it up. If the firm already has a profile on the Archello website, only the steps described at 2.2 have to be taken to enter it to the Archello Awards.

   

  2.1 Setting up a firm profile on the Archello website is a straightforward process but requires several steps:

  1. Log into your personal account at the Archello website or create a free, personal account;

  2. In your personal account, found under your profile picture or avatar, create the firm if you can’t find it on the Archello website. You can add a firm under ‘brands’ by clicking the plus-button saying ‘add brand’;

  3. In the brand’s dashboard set up the profile by uploading a logo, a header image, a text describing the firm’s profile, an address, a website address, and so on;

  4. In de brand’s dashboard then add recent projects that showcase the scope of the expertise of the firm and its bearing into a more sustainable future;

  5. Publish the firm’s profile and its projects on the Archello website.

   2.2 If the firm profile has (already) been published on the Archello website, simply go to archello.com/awards and select ‘Enter Now’. At the following page look up the firm’s profile that you want to enter, select the right category, pay the entrance fees, and you’re done.

  For the jury to see your entry, the firm profile and the accompanying projects must be published on the Archello website.

   

  Entries must be submitted before 23:59 Amsterdam time (CEST) on the night of 27 September 2024.

• What is the entry timeline?

  Entering no later than 30 April 2024 saves you significantly on the entrance fees.

• Who can enter?

  The Archello Awards are open to all registered architecture firms, interior architecture firms, design studios and manufacturers, as well as all individual professional architects, interior architects and designers all over the world, over the age of 18.

• What can I enter?

  The Archello Awards are open to architecture projects, architecture and interior design firms, and building products.

   

  Your project needs to have been completed between 1 January 2022 and 30 September 2024. To be considered as completed, the project needs to have been handed over to the client.

   

  Your product needs to have been presented to the public between 1 January 2022 and 30 September 2024. Furthermore, the product must be in industrial production or should be on a concrete path to industrial production

• What are the costs?

  Entering no later than 30 April 2024 saves you significantly on the entrance fees.

• How are the entries judged?

  In each category the longlist of entries will be judged by an international jury of acclaimed architects, designers, interior architects and interior designers, and possibly other experts from the architecture and design industry. The jury will select the best entries based on the judging criteria that are described at the About page in the Archello Awards guide at the Archello website.

• How many categories can I enter?

  For projects and products: as many as you like. For firms: select only the category that best describes the profile of the firm.

• Can I enter more than one project in the same category?

  Yes, there is no limit to how many projects you can enter in the same category.

• Can I enter the same project in more than one category?

  Yes, especially with projects that have a hybrid program this can be appropriate.

• When should my project have been completed to be eligible?

  Your project needs to have been completed between 1 January 2022 and 30 September 2024. To be considered as completed, the project needs to have been handed over to the client.

• When should my product have been presented to the public to be eligible?

  Your product needs to have been presented to the public between 1 January 2022 and 30 September 2024. Furthermore the product must be in industrial production or should be on a concrete path to industrial production.

• Can I enter the same project two years in a row?

  Yes, as long as you enter it in a different category and as long as it meets the eligibility criteria. But you cannot enter the same project in the same category more than once.

• Do you accept collections or families as well as individual products?

  Yes, you can enter a specific product or a collection or family of products into the awards.

• Can I enter the same firm in more than one category?

  No, select only the category that best describes the profile of the firm.

• Can I edit my entry?

  Which project(s), firm(s) and product(s) are entered at the Archello Awards can be altered up to the point of payment. After that no alterations can be made to which project(s), firm(s) and product(s) have been entered and to which category or categories.

   

  The presentations of the project(s), firm(s) or product(s) that have been entered at the Archello Awards can always be updated by logging into the brand’s dashboard.

• What are the rules for adding images into my entry?

  There is a 10MB limit on each image that you upload.

• Can I add a video to support my entry?

  Yes, you can embed a video or include a link to it. It’s recommended that such a video is not longer than 5 minutes.

• How will I know that my entry was submitted successfully?

  Once you've paid the entrance fees, we will send you a confirmation email as well as a VAT receipt.

• Does my entry need to be submitted in English?

  Yes, we only accept applications written in English.

• Can I send my entry by post?

  No. We only accept entries made via the Archello website.

• Is there a student category?

  No, we don’t have a category specifically for students.

• Can I enter an uncompleted or speculative project?

  No, projects need to have been completed and handed over to the client by the closing date in order to be eligible.

• What do winners of the Archello Awards receive?

• Will I need to pay anything if I win?

  No, there are no hidden costs at the Archello Awards. We will not charge you for your certificate or anything else if you win.

• Do I have to attend an event?

  No, we will be announcing the nominees and winners online, so you will not need to purchase a ticket for an awards ceremony to find out if you've won.
