On hillside and facing the Douro River, Casa do Miradouro was born, lined with cork, a natural and noble material, extracted from the cork oak tree, typical of Portugal. The location for the implantation was duly safeguarded to avoid the felling of those trees, planted years ago on this slope. This house was born with the function of serving as a reception and support for a tourist enterprise Douro Suites.
