The Clinic ESENCIAL by Dr. Aragüés is located in the nerve center of the city of Burgos, at the confluence of two important avenues with Plaza de España. In this place of transits, of circulations, the clinic manifests itself in its three facades in a resounding way, with a silent but highly visible plastic language.

The strategy for its urban image is to use a metallic skin of micro-perforated deployé throughout its exterior, which unifies the two visible floors of the clinic into a single entity (it also has a floor below ground level). This entire façade looks like an iron 'shell' but in reality it works as a tremendously permeable 'porous' veil in both directions, in such a way that during the day it allows all the light to pass inside and at night it fully exteriorizes its activity. In each of the facades there is an opening that, as a showcase, tries to establish a sharper and more direct relationship between interior and exterior.

The main strategy for the interior space has been to project a 'mirrored party wall' that virtually duplicates the initial dimensions of an L shaped venue with a short width. With this mirror lining it is possible to blur and dematerialize the limit of the dividing wall and greatly amplify the spatial sensation, simultaneously causing fantastic games of reflection.
