“NEW – Neighbourhood for Educational Wonder” is the winning project of the international competition “Future School for Ukraine”, initiated by Lithuanian government for a faster and efficient reconstruction of schools damaged after the invasion of Ukraine, implemented by Central Project Management Agency in partnership with Lithuanian Union of Architects. The project has been awarded for its adaptability, sustainability, and speed of implementation. Funded by the Lithuanian Fund for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid, it will serve as the blueprint for constructing new schools in Ukraine and will be available to Ukrainian institutions and international partners by mid-2025. This classically modern residence is located in The Village of North Chevy Chase, Maryland.  The client’s goal was to have a forever home that could adapt to their needs as they age, all while staying within a relatively tight budget. The site slopes from north to south, which allowed for the creation of two "front" doors on this corner lot. One door faces Kenilworth Drive, situated close to grade and easily adaptable for a ramp or low threshold entry.  This facade also complements the lower scale context of the neighborhood with its modest two-story design. Sava Activities is an on-going public urban design project aiming to reintroduce the riverbanks of Zagreb’s Sava River to the daily life of the city. Initiated as a competition proposal in 2015, the project had been developed around the flood related characteristics of the river. Unlike the other European capitals which are established around a river, Zagreb’s urban growth had been formed with a tendency to move away from Sava. The CASULO studio is a changing space, designed in a container, where we want to demonstrate how today dwelling can be flexible. With this, the project allows different "faces" from the same fixed furniture. What we want is a space that is palpable and experienced by the user, a space that can be touched and unfolded, not only with a simple look, but with the individual curiosity.
