Baghiatallah University Entrance

The design of the Baghiatallah University Entrance is the result of merging two distinct spatial approaches. The first approach adopts a thoroughly modern interpretation of the entrance; a concrete shell that emerges from the ground, defines the entrance space beneath it, and then returns to the earth. One of its vertical planes is angled along the primary flow of pedestrians to enhance legibility and create a more inviting atmosphere. Caption Caption Caption Caption Caption The second approach takes a postmodern perspective, featuring a brick volume with proportions and openings reminiscent of traditional Iranian gateways. The integration of these two spatial volumes along their central axis has resulted in a wo... More

Bashtani Residential

Bashtani Residential is an affordable apartment building located in West Tehran, featuring two units per floor, each with an approximate area of 80 square meters. A primary challenge in economic residential developments is the scarcity of green spaces and a lack of attention to sustainability, often due to high land occupancy and the necessity of minimizing construction costs; the Bashtani project was no exception to these constraints. Caption Caption The design sought to address these challenges through the conceptual lens of " Spatial Authenticity, Spatial Autonomy." Consequently, more public zones were designed with a concrete exterior, while private areas featured brick cladding. In addition to the distinct materiality, the... More

NematAbad Residential

In the design of the NematAbad Residential project, two primary objectives were pursued: - Compatibility and harmony with the site. Caption Caption Caption Caption Caption - Designing two units per floor with optimal and identical conditions. Initially, to ensure compatibility with the site conditions, a primary volume was conceived, enveloped by a continuous shell emerging from the ground, symbolizing its integration with the surroundings. This shell was sloped at the roof level to harmonize with the site’s climatic conditions. Caption Caption Caption Caption Furthermore, the project required two units per floor. Given the narrow width of the plot, placing two units of appropriate dime... More

Varbon Residential

Project Concept: Spatial Authenticity, Spatial Autonomy The Varbon Residential Project was conceived with the idea of combining and juxtaposing two fundamental structures: the base and the residential. This composition, while maximizing the panoramic views of the forest to the south and the sea to the north, emphasizes the authenticity and spatial independence of each structure. Such independence is not only preserved at the overall scale of the building between the base and the residential volumes, but also extends to each floor, where every unit is defined by its own distinct identity and spatial authenticity. The elongated form of the building along the axis of the views creates spatial diversity and reinterprets a contemporary model in... More

HamHayatt Residential Complex

Architectural Theory: Spatial Authenticity, Spatial Autonomy This theory advocates for the authenticity of each space, preserving its purity along with its unique characteristics. These features remain intact even in juxtaposition with other spaces. The theory is based on a reinterpretation of Iranian architecture, allowing the project to adapt to its context in all aspects, including architectural identity, culture, history, climate, neighborhood relations, and sustainability. Construction Industry Trade Center

The trade center of the construction industry draws inspiration from the Bazars of Iran in its design concept. Each floor is designed to incorporate a corridor lined with commercial units on both sides. The corridors are meticulously crafted to allow an abundance of natural light, creating an inviting and enjoyable movement space. Additionally, there are exits at both ends of the building volume, offering an attractive view and enhancing the overall circulation within the building. Furthermore, the incorporation of green and open spaces between the building volume and the corridors results in a seamlessly integrated and uniform circulation space. Iranian Helal Office Complex

The competition focused on designing the facade for the office building of Helal Iranian. The primary objective was to create an attractive and functional facade with a focus on maximizing transparency. Glass materials were strategically used throughout the facade to achieve this goal. The cylindrical form of the glass parts of the facade, which is similar to Iranian historical brick towers and minars, aimed to minimize sunlight reflection and promote efficient airflow, creating a pleasant and well-ventilated environment within the building. Behestan Residential

The Behestan Residential is a five-story building in the north of Tehran, which tried to improve the shape of the ground angles with its curved geometry. Considering that the width of the land in the north is more than the south side, the larger unit is located in the north and the smaller unit is in the southern part of the building, in front of its yard. Between these two units, on the west side of the building, a part of the volume was emptied to create terraces and the main entrance of the building. Neshat Office

Due to the location of the land and the volume of the building, an attempt was made to form the initial concept in such a way that it came out of the shape of a rectangular cube and had full and empty spaces and facade according to Iranian architectural patterns. Caption On the other hand, due to the existence of a neighboring brick building and the fact that brick is one of the main elements of Iranian architecture, it was decided that the total volume of the building be made of brick. Caption The openings are designed in such a way that while observing the proportions of Iranian architecture as much as possible express the type of interior space so that behind the window The triple rooms are located in the main hall, or behind...
