Rénovation d'un appartement familial

"Berthier" This apartment in Versailles underwent a complete transformation. The space, formerly dark, now favors brightness and the warm presence of wood.  D.Rocco Our goal was to reorganize the volumes while preserving the apartment’s soul. The original parquet mosaics, door handles and 1950s radiators were retained. D.Rocco To optimize circulation, the kitchen was moved next to the dining area tot take advantage of the south-facing orientation. D.Rocco To maintain visual connection and distribute natural light, an interior window and a glazed partition were created between the master suite and the living room.  D.Rocco Old partitions were replaced by full-height furniture that naturally define the... The appartment for the biker in Minsk

The studio apartment with an area of 70 sq.m. is located in the center of Minsk in the Comfort Park residential complex. I designed an interior for a bachelor taking into account his interests, habits and lifestyle. A man loves outdoor activities, loves his friends and noisy companies, which, by the way, often gather in this apartment. He is engaged in boxing, listens to and appreciates good music, and he is also a real biker. The key task was to properly allocate the budget: to invest minimal funds in finishing, and to use the main part of it to buy furniture and decor. Many pieces of furniture were made to order according to my sketches. I also did the paintings on the walls myself. In the hallway there is a "portrait" of your favorite... More

084_SAW Vertical extension on Avenue Wendt 29-33, Geneva

This two-floor vertical extension project on Avenue Wendt is located next to a pair of neighboring buildings that also recently added on floors. From a volume perspective, this facilitated the extension’s integration and acceptance. Our architectural expression and vision, however, was not congruous with a solution aimed at architectural continuity.  Olivier di Giambattista Olivier di Giambattista Olivier di Giambattista The existing structure from the 1950s, a nondescript building with several awkward elements, was crowned by an eave that protected and completed the facades. The neighboring project decided to renovate the entire facade, destroying the eaves in order to blend the addition into a new finish in exte... More

Inokashira Connected Residence

The problems faced by collective housing in cities include the problems of ensuring privacy with the neighborhood and the comfort of the dwelling units due to the narrowness of the site, and the difficulty of creating townscapes and opening them to the community while realizing these. I aimed to solve them and discover the advantages and characteristics of living together in small groups. Then, I wondered whether the existence of other dwelling units in the collective housing would not hinder privacy or lighting and ventilation, and would rather create a comfortable structure. Satoshi Shigeta Satoshi Shigeta Satoshi Shigeta Satoshi Shigeta Dwelling units were arranged separately, and gardens dedicated to each dwelling u... More
