The initial position of the project aims to provide a unique Restaurant where knowledge sparks will be lighted through multidisciplinary communication. The concept of this design roots in the traditional form of Iranian architecture. Space is characterized by the use of traditional arch form, which visually defines the space organizing the functional program: an amazing Entrance, kitchen, dining areas, a virtual reality room, and a coffee shop. Reminiscent of an older, simpler era, yet contemporary in spirit, Residence 2105 is essentially an extension to an existing residence. Initially designed keeping in mind a family of four, with time, as the family grew, a need was felt to expand the space to include two more bedrooms. The new construction was visualised as part of the first floor of the residence, which ultimately was designed to include a living, dining and kitchen space, turning the first-floor space into a comfortable, warm abode. Context and setting La Maison Gauthier is located in the Laurentians, in Quebec, near the town of Mont-Tremblant. It is set in a hilly terrain and is surrounded by a dense expanse of forest characteristic of this mountainous region. The lot is located on a rocky hill covered with spruce and birch. It is bounded to the east by the main road and to the west by the owners’ horse farm. The clients wanted a volume with views largely oriented towards the horses’ riding arena below. Capturing the heart of Italy in the middle of Alabama, USA, the Venezia Italian restaurant interior design is an island of homely ambience, rich accents and beautiful lighting in a sea of Americana. The idea was to emulate a sense of cultural harmony that would make the dining experience as authentic as possible. So the CAS design team blended a mix of rustic and industrial style aesthetics in a converted warehouse setting to deliver a great visual and tactile experience. The VlinderBrug or “Butterfly Bridge” is a pedestrian/cycle bridge which makes an elegant leap across the busy provincial highway. The shape refers to the butterfly emblem of Oost Gelre. The two wooden arches, filled with stretched mesh, suggest wings – the wings of a gigantic butterfly which has alighted over the N18 near Lichtenvoorde. More

The bridge is adjacent to the monumental prison building on Blokhuisplein, in an area which has a long history and was previously the location of Leeuwarden’s city wall. Designed as a bascule bridge, its arched frame forms an emblematic gateway to the city centre and welcomes the visitor with open arms. The bridge deck soars through the archway from one bank of the canal to the other. The lifting mechanism of the bridge operates through a hydraulic cylinder. More
