Exchange Square, designed by DSDHA, is a refurbishment of a major 1.5-acre public park above the tracks of Liverpool Street Station in London. Our terrazzo was supplied throughout, including water features, amphitheatre steps, paving and planter edges with complex 3D pieces. The challenge for In Opera was to provide over 3000 pieces, 90% of which were unique and many having to fit into each other perfectly. The 1.5-acre park will see a four-fold increase in the amount of planting and dramatically enhance biodiversity, with 25% of the area featuring green space that is accessible to all. The Casa Rancho is located in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, approximately 120km from the capital. Spanning an area of 20,000m², the Rancho was designed to be the family's retreat, also becoming a project for sustainability and environmental recovery of the land, which is part of an old farm. Casa Roverella is a villa created to embrace nature. The house is located in Puglia, halfway between Ostuni and Cisternino, in the Valle d'Itria, an area that inspired the entire project. The main intention was immediately to seek a dialogue with the natural elements present on the ground. A large oak tree gave the initial inspiration that led to the entire house being structured around it, making it the true protagonist of the project. The new Voisthaler Hut is situated in the high valley of the Upper Dullwitz as a highly visible landmark. As a point of orientation between Hochschwab, Wetterkogel, Karlhochkogel and Fölzsattel, it replaces the existing hut and appears as a simple, clear volume in the high alpine terrain. The setting in the largely natural landscape is an interplay of site-specific characteristics (topography, weather sides, view), function and form - a combination of architecture and site. Chengdu MixC is located in Chengdu's Dongcheng District，its commercial complex includes a diversity of retail and dining business varieties totaling 300,000㎡distributed into four buildings. The central plaza is situated at the core of the project. Since its completion, the mega-scale plaza has failed to realize its fullest potential. In 2023, FLO Landscape Design, in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects, completed the renovation of the Chengdu MixC.The newly renovated public plaza has successfully activated hybridisation of activities and lifestyles in this landmark public realm. With a site of moderately marked topography, this house adapts and permeates very well with its context. It was conceptualized under the premise of seeking a single level in the majority of the house, making it a discreet and private project. It moves in a square shape in such a way that we prioritize the view and green areas for social areas and we propose a body for the bedrooms that generates privacy and is oriented towards the South. This choice not only restores the visual identity of the historic center but also provides an environment that inspires creativity and well-being. The work on the landscaping of the Opus - is primarily the work on the sculpture of hills that form the yard area. We paid special attention to greening and lighting. The sculpture of the hills in the courtyards is emphasized by the low-lying plants, and the basis of the volume forms large bushes and trees. In the surroundings of the greenery were placed recreation areas with swings, loungers and hammocks, organically inscribed in the hill. The selection of the assortment was based on seasonality. Mount Morgan is a small town located 40km south-west of Rockhampton in Central Queensland. The town has a little-known but rich history of gold and copper mining, and in 2014 the local council started a master-planning process to revitalise the main streetscape.
