At the core of the historic and commercial center of Athens, in a modern building of the 60s, Constantine Bouras Studio designed the atelier of an artist, creating a bright open plan space which allows for unobstructed spatial and programmatic flows. In Summer 2020 in Moscow, developing of unusual loft-quarter “Studio 12” ordered by KR Properties, has been finished under the project of the architectural Bureau T+T Architects. Located on a steep rocky waterfront parcel on the West Shore of San Juan Island in Washington, this small craft studio occupies a rocky shelf above and behind an existing main residence. The clients, a professional weaver and her husband, nearing a full-time move to San Juan, requested a studio space which would house all her weaving tools: looms, dying facilities, a sewing/assembly area, and an office.In addition to using the space for her craft, it would also act as a gallery for her work as well as a meeting space for her weaving guild meetings. Monday Monday Floral Art Studio is located in Tang Shang 433 Creative Design Center on Yuhangtang Road in Hangzhou. The predecessor was the Hangzhou Ribbon Factory. The owner hopes that the final status can be presented as a miniature floral art museum. Therefore, concrete materials are selected as the main material, and minimalism is used to set off the delicate flowers.In this case, we use "light" as a concept. The floor-to-ceiling windows not only allow the interior to receive sufficient sunlight but also allow passers-by to look at the scene inside the store and contrast with the surrounding environment well. The project merges the diaphanous industrial space, an old warehouse of construction materials, with the necessity of a functional painting studio and coworking space. The main idea is the preservation of the industrial building feeling.The interior is distributed in a multipurpose room as a reception space of large dimensions that also integrates the office and is surrounded by other small studios.
