Cornerstone Orchard Auditorium

Cornerstone Auditorium is a conversion from an existing nightclub in a mall into an auditorium used mainly for Christian services. We translated the idea of “Ruach” – the breath of life – into a sculptural interior defined by fluid lines and luminous, expansive volumes. With its users being Pentecostal church members, the design takes inspiration from traditional church vaults and aims to symbolise sacred space where heaven and earth meet.  Shiya Creative Studio Shiya Creative Studio Materially, the design balances light and dark: a luminous white acoustic ceiling contrasts with timber wall panels and a dark carpeted floor, focusing attention on the stage while maintaining warmth. The ceiling, formed... More

ArtA'A, library - academy - info point

The challenge in creating an art center for the municipality of Aalter consisted of transforming the existing shell spaces into an open, technically and acoustically effective building. An additional challenge was the fact that the building consisted of 2 floors below ground level. It was decided to retain all structural beams and columns and to place the entire building in a monotonous concrete-grey base. An open building for users and visitors with maximum visual interaction and daylight on all levels. Colour is used to define the public areas. As well as a slide to explore the youth library at -1. Giulia Frigerio The main purpose of art is still to connect people, which is why this new arts center is so important. The available s... More

OSPAÑA Obra Social Headquarters

Carrying out a commission for a Social Institution reconsiders the role of the architect, since the client represents a group of people who give him power to ensure services for the community. Javier Agustin Rojas Javier Agustin Rojas Flexibility, flexibility, flexibilityWhen the project began, there was only one certainty: that when the building was finished, the program would already have changed. The institution was in the process of growing, and that was a fact. It was then decided to work with a free-plan structural scheme until reaching a system of porticos between party walls with high-rise beams. Releasing the width of the plan, the depth of the scheme remained to be resolved, for which a strategy of sequencing spaces fro... More

Cultural Center Tor Marancia

The cultural center is conceived as a compact building, visually permeable on the ground floor, and more introverted on the first level, characterized by a brick cladding engraved on the street fronts by a few measured openings.
