Concept The project unifies store, office, storage and operational functions within a clear architectural structure. Its identity is defined by a family of sculptural elements formed directly on site: oversized cubic blocks and vertical pillars that read almost as totems. Their controlled shifts establish rhythm and depth without relying on modular construction, giving the interior a grounded, crafted presence. These forms operate simultaneously as structure and gesture — massive, intentional and calm. Their surfaces carry relief-like textures that catch light softly and reinforce the tactile, material clarity of the space. The project is the first stage in a reinvention of the brand ahead of its 30th anniversary in 2026. Berberè Bologna Porta Saragozza

The locationThe restaurant, which overlooks the Piazza di Porta Saragozza in Bologna, is part of the ancient Falansterio complex of the city. Over the years it has hosted various functions, from the bus depot and repair shop to some catering and entertainment venues. Caption It was divided into an entrance, which in the old Falansterio project was a public portico, a kitchen area with related warehouses located in a raised area and a more recently built room that overlooks the garden and which housed the bar and all the customer services. Flames Hung Hom

Project Brief ​Flames Whampoa is the third restaurant by the Flames brand in Hong Kong. Metagram's brief was to establish an iconic visual identity which could solidify the visual outlook of the brand's restaurants. Both the founders of Metagram and Flames shared a background of living in Sydney, Australia. This nostalgic synergy created a consensus that the outcome of the design should simulate the wonderful Australian dining experiences fondly remembered by both parties. Metagram proposed the target of achieving a distinctly Australian dining experience using only atmospheric design strategies and materials, whilst avoiding literal references, such as pictures or cultural objects.
