Amai artisanal bakehouse

Amai Artisanal Bakehouse is a contemporary café and bakery located in Kolhapur, India. Designed by Gauche Studio, the project transforms an existing Kerala-inspired building into a warm and inviting hospitality space through a restrained architectural intervention that respects the character of the original structure. Shubham Wanjhere Shubham Wanjhere Shubham Wanjhere Shubham Wanjhere Rather than altering the building extensively, the design builds upon its existing architectural language. The pitched roof, generous volumes and natural light establish the foundation for a contemporary interior that feels both familiar and refined. Ariadna Polo Ariadna Polo The architectural intervention, developed by Heliana Arquitectura, sought to preserve the domestic scale of the original building while transforming it into an open and luminous commercial space. arirang dowon

Arirang Dowon: Born at the Boundary of the Ordinary and the Extraordinary When we first located the land at "603 Tongsam-ri," we began to contemplate. If someone were to visit this place during an ordinary day, how could we spatially express the boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary? Caption Arirang Dowon is situated on a seemingly ordinary road, appearing from the outside as an unremarkable, factory-like building. However, the moment one steps inside, an entirely different world unfolds. To emphasize this moment of transition, we designed a water wall on the front façade. The flow of water serves as a boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary, offering visitors a visual delight and a sense of calm.... More

Dastaas Cafe and Bakery

The name of this project refers to the traditional Iranian hand mill, known as "dastās," which consists of a movable round stone and a fixed stone. The movable stone is typically circular, with a hole in the center, and is equipped with a wooden handle on the side, allowing it to be manually operated for grinding wheat. Peyman Amirghiasvand In this project, our objective extended beyond merely creating a functional and operational space for a bakery cafe. Instead, we aimed to craft a unique spatial experience, drawing inspiration from rich cultural and historical elements. The design concept was based on traditional Iranian hand mills and the arched forms of traditional ovens, which served as the central design elements. Peyman Ami... More

La Madrugada de Javier Moreno

The Vistabella neighborhood has a frenetic commercial activity. Bon Enfant

Luneurs bon enfant is located in Jing’an MIXC World. The project explores the theme of “retro futurism”, ignited by a series of retro-futuristic illustrations by a French Chocolate Factory in the 50’s and 60’s. hcreates interior design Retro futurism itself is a sort of contradiction; visions of the future from a time gone by, allowing us to play with the past era in a contemporary way. Evident in the French illustrations was the use of color, curves, movement, and form, and the general graphic, energetic style. When approaching both the layout and spatial design we tried to integrate these aspects as much as possible, from the sculptural curving bench seats that define the seating area to the iconography... Pan de Fuego

The proposal we developed for the new storefront for Pan de Fuego in Cholula, is originated from the understanding of the artisanal process of the product they offer, artisanal bread. Also, the value on the preexistences found on the site is complemented by materiality and furniture.  Caption The honesty of the baker's work and its product, encouraged a proposal that related to the work inside the kitchen, prioritizing materiality and interior ambiance. With this in mind, we chose to strip the walls to expose the brick and neutralizing it to contrast the color of the original floor tiles, a model called 'huichol' which we were asked to keep but were happy to do since it adds to the identity and characteristic colorfulness of the...
