In the Netherlands, KRFT has completed IKEC De Zevensprong, a Paris-proof school for children with special needs that will serve more than 450 pupils from the Hoorn region. The building is constructed around a radical, lightweight timber structure that is fully demountable and adaptable. “Making a school Paris Proof is no simple task; you must be radical in every material choice.
