Butler Wiltshire have recently completed a series of seating and planter clusters for the City of London, made from terracotta and repurposed timber. The sculptural, tessellating modules have been designed to respond to the City’s unique architectural heritage and provide much needed pockets of seating and greenery within the high-rise Eastern City district.

Wright Brothers National Monument
The Wright Brothers National Monument visitor center was considered an ultra-modern design when originally built in the 1920’s. It was part of the Park Service’s “Mission 66” program dedicated to modernization and expansion. The architectural firm of Rogers & Poor were the ones behind it’s unique art deco style. In 1966, it was inducted into the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Streetlife’s Solid Mobile Green Isles (MGI) are mobile planters with integrated hardwood seating. Their basic structure is fabricated from sheet steel (Corten or RAL powder coated). With the 1.5 m wide modular elements an infinite amount of designs can be created. Seating can be installed alongside or end faces using Solid Topseats made from FSC hardwood slats (7x7 cm – 2.8”x2.8”) fitted with the stainless steel Streetlock™ comb system.
