Whyellow

A complete office design of the new office environment for Whyellow.  Image Courtesy B-too Interconnection Whyellow designs software solutions that solve specific questions. And it does so in teams of 8 to 10 engineers. Separate rooms are designed for the teams. A lot of glass and incorporated into the walls. This creates acoustically sealed project spaces with lots of interconnection between them. The use of partially architectural walls with wood decor creates a solid appearance. Image Courtesy B-too "Vrij-mi-bo" Vintage lighting fixtures with a retro designed restaurant we want to emphasize the industrial tough character, the rebelliousness of Whyellow. Djibouti Towers

DJIBOUTI TOWERS is a unique, the world's first complex of skyscrapers, embodying the state symbols of the country and its emblem, carrying the national heritage of the peoples of the Republic of Djibouti.  The project is an incredible composition of three towers. The central tower represents a spear and a shield and the star at its top symbolizes the unity of the nation. There are two symmetrical towers on both sides of the spear. They are designed in the form of two traditional Djibouti daggers, decorated with elements symbolizing a Laurel wreath. The Laurel wreath represents the peace granted to the people of Djibouti after independence on June 27, 1977.  "DJIBOUTI TOWERS" will be the tallest complex of skyscrapers in Africa,... More

Business Center Vrelec

Vrelec Business Center is placed at the entry point towards the center of Rogaška Slatina town and hosts a program for the “business incubator” for smaller entrepreneurs. Its orientation towards the promenade of Rogaška`s health-park is accented by the sightseeing point at the top floor loggia and by the longitudinal body. Thus the building establishes a connection to the urbanistic axis of the town, and also a height emphasis at the town`s main roundabout intersection. The shape of the building is a reaction to the irregular shape of the plot and nearness of other structures. Longitudinal overhang over the glazed ground offers some shelter for the semi-public space. The outer arrangement comprises also climbing pl... More

SANTRA Çayyolu

SANTRA Çayyolu complex is planned to be the new center of the upper middle class urban sprawl of Çayyolu, Ankara. The site is a steep hill in the intersection of two main arteries connecting the satellite neighborhoods with universities. The sharp topography of the site was a substantial challenge which was embraced as a design indicator. The complex is modeled to transform into the topography itself. Two public squares are created, one on the apex of the hill and one at street level. The entrances of all blocks sit on the hilltop and they strengthen the upper square with cafes, restaurants and urban green. The amphitheater and Lower Square provide a bigger scale public stage for the city. These two hotspots are connected with commercial ac... More

Northwestern Mutual

Northwestern Mutual, a financial services company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has expanded into a brand new, modern office space – in a building that is nearly a century old. The company worked with Eppstein Uhen Architects, Milwaukee, to completely renovate the interior of Milwaukee’s Van Buren building, built in 1926, and Banker Wire woven wire mesh now clads its central elevator banks. Northwestern Mutual bought the 158,000-square-foot, seven-story Van Buren building in January 2013 and worked with Eppstein Uhen Architects, Milwaukee, to redesign its interior. Northwestern Mutual aimed to achieve a contemporary aesthetic for the open-concept office, where more than 600 employees work. The modern design relies on the inter... More

Herman's Square

The new business residential building is located at an important location in the old city centre in Celje. The land intended for construction is a part of a larger degraded non-built up area, which was somewhat forgotten for decades and exempt from the development of the city. Through the years a very heterogeneous structure evolved around this "wound" in the urban tissue, which was untouched for a long time. Even though according to urban regulations, the location is a part of the narrow city centre, it is not directly adjacent to any historical buildings. In the north and east it is adjacent to a modern city block construction, on the northwest it is adjacent to a very high residential building in regard to scale of the city and in the so... More
