Its clean lines and the stitching detail on the outer shell combine with the rounded silhouette of the seat, creating a contrast between the precision of the outline and the generous internal padding.

The detachable upholstery of the Puffy Lounge Chair is fat and plump, its generous shape spills freely over the sides of a tubular steel frame which, in stark contrast, is hard-lined and strong. The two key elements of this seating design by Faye Toogood are in purposeful and playful juxtaposition. The elementary frame is inspired by the rational structure of classic modernist design, whilst the extravagant quilt-like upholstery warmly embraces and envelopes, is comforting and reassuring. The Anthem Owner's Box & Backstage
CORE collaborated with concert and promotions company I.M.P. on the interior design of the client’s private box suite, dressing rooms, and backstage areas at the Washington, DC music venue, The Anthem.
The private suite and balcony are suspended over stage right of The Anthem, a 6,000-person capacity venue anchoring the Wharf development in Southwest DC. CORE designed the suite with luxury finishes, including swiveling leather chairs, black textured leather upholstered wall coverings, a marble wet bar with custom designed gold and stone backsplash art piece, and comfortable bar seating on the tiered steps of the box suite.
