Located high on a hillside, surrounded by Menorcan pines and wild olive trees, this temporary house is the first phase of a larger project.Given the need for speed in order to enjoy the landscape as soon as possible, and to minimize its impact on the site, a fully industrialized modular solution was chosen; the modules arrived completely finished. The project is based on total prefabrication in reinforced concrete. Modular panels make up all the building elements: façades, roofs and interior partitions. The typification of elements made it possible to speed up and simplify the construction, while emphasising the building's image. The house is situated in one of the most rugged areas on the outskirts of Argentina's most densely populated urban centre, the Buenos Aires Delta. This initial juxtaposition defines the site: an access canal lies at the front of the plot, while an endless, humid willow forest stretches behind.
