BEACH HOUSE LAS PALMERAS

The project is located at 125 km south of Lima city in a beach named “Las Palmeras”. The house is organized into three levels: the first level contains all service areas, garage and guest rooms; the second level comprises the house principal rooms; and the third one is intended to be the social areas: kitchen, living-room, dining-room, terrace and swimming pool. The underlying conceptual proposal seeks to reduce to the minimum the architectonic shapes and forms so as to concentrate all the sight-seeing force on the upper volume, principal figure which seems to be wishing to float over the other levels of the house. Castello di Montaldo – Museum Design Hotel

A few miles from Turin, behind the Superga hill, on a hilltop that is a foretaste of the plateau that separates the main city of Piedmont from Langhe and Monferrato, stands the elegant silhouette of Castello di Montaldo. A stern castle, its first stones laid in the year 1011, built at the request of Landolfo, Bishop of Turin. The remains, dating back to the 18th century, are instead the result of the many changes the castle experienced over the years. In this case, it was Count Carlo Emanuele Ferrero d’Ormea who made the major renovation works, turning it into a sumptuous villa as his main dwelling. As it changed hands, the castle was also inhabited by a few religious orders, then in recent times it was converted into a hotel and spa tha... More

Pietra Baugé

The range of architectural materials launched by the designers of the Pietre Native collection is growing ever wider and varied, with the further addition of the new Pietra Baugé collection. The brainchild of extensive research into design, material and form to produce a real-life finish, the Pietra Baugé collection is coloured by four soft shades that are perfect for contemporary living, as they create a really charming atmosphere. Shades range from slightly dotted, streaked white to sand beige, spiced up by streaks and small paler inclusions, to two darker grey shades: a softly blurred pale grey and a rough coal grey with shady effects and small paler and darker inclusions. The wide colour range is further extended by two modular sizes... More

Spazio

A soft but minimal appearance is the trademark of the new Spazio collection by Casalgrande Padana: 9 muted shades, ranging from coal grey to white through an array of matching, soft hues, colours and depths. Even if the material obviously takes inspiration from such surfaces as mat resin and textured concrete, Spazio takes that look and twists it by adding mild colour changes between the slabs and a texture that is so well balanced it may go unnoticed. A member of the Pietre Native family, Spazio perfectly fits in with its high wear-, impact- and stain- resistance properties, so it may be easily applied in any public or residential area. Available in 4 sizes, from 30x30 to 60x60, Spazio is completed by an array of striped mosaics o... More
