Toile de jouy

Toile de Jouy is a 57 sqm interior project in Milan that explores the dialogue between decorative heritage and contemporary living. Classic patterns and layered colours are paired with warm materials and bespoke furnishings, shaping an intimate and refined domestic landscape.  The project reinterprets ornament as a spatial tool, enhancing perception and depth while supporting everyday functionality. Through an eclectic yet balanced language, the design weaves together aesthetics, use and identity, resulting in a coherent environment with a strong, personal character. marta d'Avenia marta d'Avenia marta d'Avenia marta d'Avenia marta d'Avenia marta d'Avenia marta d'Avenia marta d'Avenia marta d'... It hub Belgrade

A teleport corridor runs through every floor, leading to common spaces with a very different vibe: the functional, basic workspace areas are juxtaposed with sci-fi meeting rooms, lounge areas, and coffee points, each featuring different combinations of bright colours, textures, materials, and laid-back design solutions. The office also has a variety of quiet, secluded spaces for individual work, online meetings, and conferences.  Ilya Ivanov Ilya Ivanov Ilya Ivanov The dissimilar areas with their diverse references are connected by the overarching idea of creating fantasy worlds consisting of open, friendly, and vibrant spaces.  Ilya Ivanov Ilya Ivanov Ilya Ivanov The work patterns of software devel... CASA GS

Located in the heart of Città Studi, this apartment originally had an unfavorable floor plan, consisting of an entrance leading into a long, dark corridor. The project aims to transform this unappealing space into a true promenade with outstanding architectural quality. The insertion of a long barrel vault defines the corridor’s width, creating a path with strong geometric character that not only emphasizes the linearity of the corridor but also guides the visitor towards the living area, which is revealed as a surprise at the end of the path. Giulia Benedetta Costa Giulia Benedetta Costa The linearity of the corridor is further enhanced by a custom-made wardrobe that runs along its entire length, becoming the true b... More

CASA DD

We are in an 80-square-meter apartment located in the heart of a charming 1930s building. Giulia Costa Giulia Costa Giulia Costa The renovation aimed to enhance the existing architecture without altering its identity: existing doors and plaster decorations add a timeless touch of elegance, while the new resin floors delicately integrate into the space, respecting the color palette of the original cement tiles. Giulia Costa Giulia Costa Giulia Costa The living room and kitchen, initially separate, have been combined to create a spacious and bright living area, marked only by a portal that frames the two spaces. In the kitchen, the columns are stepping back in order to highlight the working area. The black quar... More

CASA N

Renewing the spaces of an apartment from the 1930s in an elegant balance between innovation and conservation is the concept behind a project for a residential interior. The few original elements of the period that had been well preserved over time have been re-inserted in a completely new and timeless context. Allegra Martin Allegra Martin In a large living area, dominated by the black terrazzo floor, an American walnut structure frames the operating space of the kitchen, in which black Marquina marble and ad hoc walnut doors are the main players. Lacquered panels, perforated brass plates and amber glass alternate completing the interface between the two spaces. Allegra Martin Allegra Martin In the bedroom, a light par... More

CASA CB

A fascinating building from the first half of the last century housed a fairly large apartment but with unusual proportion rooms. The project is based on a careful work of connecting rooms, reusing spaces, recovering existing furnishings and finishes while inserting new textures and materials. The large entrance becomes the appropriate space to host a small home library and the walls of the kitchen towards the corridor and living room dematerialize allowing new connections. Family life takes place around a wooden structure which frames the passages. FIT Apartment

The Fit Apartment deviates from the standard of most residential projects already carried out by the office, with a completely integrated character: Except for the bathroom, all walls have been eliminated, creating a continuous circulation throughout the social area, kitchen, office, and master bedroom. The proposal came from the owners' desire to create a sensation of more spaciousness in the 60 sqm apartment.  Julia Tótoli Julia Tótoli The pandemic changed most people’s relationship their living space, and a new habit acquired by clients was exercising at home. Thus, even with the relatively small apartment, an important premise for the project was versatility - to allow various uses throughout the apar... More

Olive Green House

A house with a small footprint in Tel Mond, Israel, gets an interior uplift by Studio BeND (bend_arch). Warmth and character were injected into the house with the use of timber, olive green and earth tones which reflect the Australian landscape, from which the clients have returned. New rounded walls and joinery were added to soften the floorplan's sharp angles and give a better sense of flow.  Gidon Levin Gidon Levin More

MAS House

The concept  for the project  was born quite intuitively while looking for an unconventional and yet lower-budget approach in arranging the space of the ground floor of a private house. There were three tasks: furniture should be minimal and simplistic; the budget should be kept relatively modest and the result should be unconventional. This resulted in the creation of a neutral scenography(a light-gray box) in which the various actors- the functional areas of the house, “float“ in space, each “dressed up” in a specific color. nssn The polished concrete floor, the visible concrete slab and the light-grey rendering of the brick walls form the neutral environment for the colorful play of the custom-made... Pan de Fuego

The proposal we developed for the new storefront for Pan de Fuego in Cholula, is originated from the understanding of the artisanal process of the product they offer, artisanal bread. Also, the value on the preexistences found on the site is complemented by materiality and furniture.  Caption The honesty of the baker's work and its product, encouraged a proposal that related to the work inside the kitchen, prioritizing materiality and interior ambiance. With this in mind, we chose to strip the walls to expose the brick and neutralizing it to contrast the color of the original floor tiles, a model called 'huichol' which we were asked to keep but were happy to do since it adds to the identity and characteristic colorfulness of the...
