Kitchen as Threshold

A structure between living, producing, and coexisting In the age of digital mobility, space is no longer bound to singular functions; portability, multi-connectivity, and spatial ambiguity have redefined the everyday landscape. Today, a library, a café, or a kitchen is no longer confined to its original role — each can become a workspace, a social interface, or a site of production. While this transformation has already taken root in public and semi-public realms, the real question lies in how such multifunctionality can be integrated into the domestic scale — particularly within spatial constraints. Caption How can the interior spaces of the home respond to these shifting practices of production? How might persona... More

Club Abbey

The founders of Club Abbey partnered with Studio Ninetynine to develop a renewing concept with the happiness of both parents and children in mind: Club Abbey is a hospitality venue, play area and community all in one and should offer an altogether distinctive experience where families are immersed in a space like no other. Keng Pereira Design concept With a focus on natural materials yet colourful accents, the interior design responds to a challenging site, a historic villa with a classic brick facade, high ceilings and two modern fully glazed extensions on opposite sides. Mediterranean Modern

Looking for a formal frame that would consistently answer the requests of the design brief, we were inspired by a style that can be defined as Mediterranean Modern. A style expressed by residential architecture scattered along the coasts of the Mediterranean Sea, interpreting elements of classicism in a contemporary way - arches, iconic staircases, rough surfaces and earth colors. Casa Malaparte in Capri or some of the vacation villas of Gio Ponti on the North Italian Riviera are examples of this architectural style. Luca Rotondo Luca Rotondo Our interior design proposal takes on an abstract, at times surreal tone, crossing a series of spaces that fluidly follow one another and suggest the domestic environments of a large single-... Darabad Residential

The Darabad Residential was very challenging due to the location of the site, which was located on the slope of the mountain, next to the river. In the concept of the project, an attempt was made to see the contrast between the mountain and the river, in order to do so, the project was made up of two volumes, one of which circulates in the direction of the river and passes by it, relative to the other. The larger and rotated volume that stretches in front of the river has a façade made out of break and the smaller volume that is placed on the side of the mountains has a façade of cement. Poli House

Our team’s main goal in developing the «Poli House» architectural project was to harmoniously blend the house's architecture with the surrounding environment. Stone, wood, and glass are the primary materials used in this house’s exterior and interior design. Andrii Shurpenkov The whole project of the house can be described as a small private complex consisting of three buildings - the main house, a guest house, and a gazebo. When designing, the Bezmirno team connected all zones into a common structure, in a single style. Andrii Shurpenkov The use of panoramic windows unites cutting off the barrier between the exterior and interior space, making it a single whole. Most of the rooms are oriented towards the... More

A Journey Through 60-Year-Long Vegeta History

To mark the 60th Vegeta anniversary, we organised a “60-year-long journey”, a unique train journey from Zagreb to Koprivnica and back staging all historical phases of this iconic Croatian product. We’ve brought our guests to revisit 1959, the year when Vegeta was first created in the Podravka factory. In cooperation with Brigada, for the first time ever in Croatia, an entire train turned into an event restaurant. On the way to Koprivnica, our guest could enjoy a celebratory menu, as well as a special entertainment programme which continued inside the old Vegeta factory in Koprivnica with a play that told the story about how Vegeta, thanks to scientist Zlata Bartl who created it, set out to conquer the world. This beautifu... More
