Stenciled

Can a commercial building bring a sense of calm to one of Bangalore’s busiest streets? This project explores how architecture can reconnect people with nature, even within a tight urban site. Located on Infantry Road, one of Bangalore’s most prominent and heavily trafficked streets, the site was surrounded by noise, pollution, and dense urban development. With limited space for landscaping and the city’s green cover steadily declining, the challenge was to create a commercial environment that felt open, comfortable, and connected to nature. Rhythmic Screened Facade

Nestled within the vibrant hub of Jigani—an industrial enclave renowned for its marble processing and trading—in the suburban tapestry of Bangalore, an ambitious blueprint unfolds for a commercial complex. Rhythmically screened Façade upon the crystalline vision laid out in the client's brief, where aspirations and functional requisites converge to craft a cohesive narrative. The incorporation of lofty fenestration holds a dual purpose within the architectural narrative. These commanding apertures are meticulously positioned to serve as conduits for an abundant influx of natural illumination, which generously blankets the inner sanctums. This strategic interplay between light and space stands as a testament to the symbio... More

Tranquil

The Tranquil apartment is located at the end of the food street, in V.V Puram, Bangalore. The structure is strategically layered between the residential locality and the ever bustling and lively food street. The area adorns a contemporary character from the contrasting old colonial structures and temples. The design team wanted the characteristic of the surrounding area to be portrayed in the façade. The inside out façade allows the inmates to be in ode with nature. This also allows ample sunlight to veil the interiors. The entire apartment complex needs no artificial light for most part of the day. An open mouthed, wedge shaped feature on the façade cladded with wooden finished high-pressure laminates, denotes its ada... More

FF-K 30/R300 - Ventilated Facade Elements

FS system, vertical joint on facades. Its placing, with a wider perpend, fairly marks the horizontality of the pieces. This system has a special aluminium clamp that holds the piece and links it to the structure. When installing it, we will constantly check weights and levels. We fix the brackets to the structure with a mechanical anchor, and to the wall using a chemical anchor. The anchors will be the most suitable according to the quality of the wall. We fix the vertical profile to the brackets with steel rivets, so it allows the dilation of the aluminium. To do this, we rivet a fixed point above and the following with mobile points. Always following the same installation pattern, if, for example, we start right to left, we would fix the... More
