The building of Cercle Calongí society, inaugurated in 1924, is located in the main square of Calonge old town. The organization has recently ceded part of the building to the City Council to be renewed as a cultural public facility. The assignment includes the concert hall and a patio, with access from the back street. Monio High School and Cultural Centre, Finland’s first three-storey timber log public building, showcases a pioneering idea for large-scale Finnish wood construction. Designed by Helsinki-based AOR Architects, Monio is situated in the former garrison area in the centre of Tuusula’s Hyrylä district (Tuusula is part of the Helsinki metropolitan area). Monio’s design reflects the architectural character of the former garrison, drawing inspiration from its historic buildings. Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre has received a New Zealand Institute of Architects’ (Te Kāhui Whaihanga) national award (in the category of Public Architecture. Held annually, this awards program recognises the best architecture produced in New Zealand within a given year, with 2023 recognising 31 projects across 12 categories. The amphitheater has been designed to provide the opportunity to watch enjoyable artistic activities in summer evenings. “Steam engine – Museo Franco Risi” is a private museum dedicated to the unique collection of steam-driven agricultural machinery that Franco Risi has restored over the last fifty years. The conversion of the existing structures, once used as a workshop by Franco himself, made it possible to regenerate the group of existing casings resulting from additions that took place over time. The François Mitterrand Mediatheque is the latest to join a network of eight libraries scattered around the city of Brest. Its main function is to offer members of the public various documents to meet their leisure, cultural, information and training needs. Covering a surface area of 9,700m², the Mediatheque gathers together almost 500,000 documents (120,000 with free access and 350,000 more in storage). Kheradsara is both a destination for members and home to the different events. We believe that it should be a connection between the locals, Shahname, and culture. The volume is transparent on the southern side. The vertical is followed by the horizontal void that turns into a yard, turning the closed spaces into semi-open and open spaces. The lobby on the bottom of the void connects the Amphitheaters to the gallery and yard. More

HQ Architects has been commissioned by the city of Netanya and the Netanya Development and Tourism Company to design the new Cultural Center in the city of Netanya, north Israel. The new Cultural Center will seat in a focal urban spot, located right next to Kvish Ha'hof – the main regional highway that crosses Netanya – and across the Netanya Stadium. The Netanya Cultural Center sits in a generous urban plot of 22,500 square meters, which was originally intended to hold a sports arena.
