Winson Space – Town Hall
Scattered throughout the locality, the premises of the Fosses-la-Ville municipal administration had become too small, and the town hall on a plot in the center offered no possibility for expansion. At the end of 2008, to meet its new needs, the municipality turned its attention to the Winson Castle, dating back to the 12th century, along with its incredible three-hectare estate protected by a surrounding wall. The municipality employed several strategies to ensure the site’s preservation, including listing the wall on the protection register and modifying the zoning plan. It became the owner in 2009 and launched an architectural competition.

Pressoria, Champagne cultural centre
Here, in Aÿ-Champagne, a short distance from Epernay in France Grand-Est region the notions of soil and terroir take on a greater meaning, magnified by a topography whose relief is the vineyard, listed as UNESCO world heritage site since 2015.
Boegly+Grazia
Faced with the mesmerising spectacle of the slopes, we made this landscape heritage fit in the project for the sensory interpretation centre for Champagne wines, thought by the CCVGM. We also took the architectural decision not to build up on the roof of the former Maison Pommery pressing centre, but to blend the extension into the landscape. The quality of the original building dating from 1902 and its location allowed a sensitive project approach, by recovering and restoring... More

Culture and Congress Centre at Banja Luka
JDAP [www.jdap.in] proposes a new Congress Centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina as an extension to the City Park
The site for the new Culture and Congress Centre at Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina lies at the edge of the town today, as an anchor for the developing city to the East. As part of the city’s strategic goals of developing as a South East European centre for culture, tourism and services, the design brief emphasised a facility that would have the flexibility to accommodate multiple activities, events and functions within it. It also laid emphasis on the Centre being a symbolic entity of the renewed city.
JDAP’s approach focused around transforming the site into an inviting and enriching part of the city, whe... More
