Custom bathroom

An apartment to be reorganized in an unconventional way in close collaboration with the customer: the new heart of the house are the kitchen, large, livable and with a sofa corner, and a small library that houses the many books and if necessary, is transformed into a guest room. In addition to this, a more private nucleus with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.   The aim was to put the two rooms in the "living" area in visual and functional communication, while maintaining the possibility of separating them for greater privacy. Loft 8B resides comfortably in the 497 GW Building, where we translated the architectural design of the cascading glass facade to the interior, with a folded bogwood spine that spatially organizes the apartment— separating and connecting, displaying and privatizing. The bogwood’s lit axis branches to the music room, guest bathroom, master bedroom, and bathroom. The interior also includes a blue-glass master bathroom, which contains an overflow bath and steam shower, and art storage areas, which are either within the bogwood spine or in rooms concealed behind pivoting walls.
