House MM has been for “STARCHBP Studio” a challenging project. Located close to the “Montelletto”, the prominence of the area between the municipalities of Montebelluna and Caerano di San Marco, as an offshoot of Montello, the project has archaeological and landscape restrictions. In the residential outskirt of Treviso is located Turned House, a T-shaped residence with slightly rotated volumes. The idea of the project was to characterize the volumes through archetypal shapes with particular attention paid to the vertical connection. Caption The design reference is the Loosian logic of the Raumplan, recognizable not only in the slight misalignment of the volumes, but also in their effective formal cleanliness and in the centrifugal trend of the space. Project for a new private house on the outskirts of Bassano del Grappa (VI).The project area, located at the foot of the Alps, has an interesting view to the north of the entrance to the Valsugana, between the western slope of Monte Grappa (recently a UNESCO heritage site) and the eastern slope of the Asiago plateau, while to the south, above the crowns of a long olive grove, the historic center of Bassano del Grappa can be seen. The concept consists in the renovation of a rural architecture and the demolition of an adjacent volume built in the Sixties.
