Kirsebærhaven on the outskirts of Copenhagen is a new type of apartment building developed by KHR. The dwellings are interwoven to create alternating entrances and gardens in the facade. This gives a social and visual dimension to the development, which naturally creates social interaction. The new ‘Mercantec - Midtbyens Gymnasium’, a business and technical college, emphasizes the city's ambitious visions for urban development. The architect, Jesper Therkildsen has transformed one of Fredericia’s old, forgotten backyards into an oasis in the town centre.
