Home Azkaine

Due to the recent pandemic outbreak, we had to adapt our homes to meet our new needs. Thus, living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens turned into offices. Today, with technology permitting, remote work will most likely gradually settle into our lives.Alki has prepared a selection of products designed to furnish pleasant spaces where you can work efficiently, even at home. The materials used such as oak, wool and leather are natural and particularly resistant. They create a warm working ambience, using a wide range of finishes to harmonize the furniture with your interior. In addition, many different elements of Alki's At Work collection can be easily combined: work seats, small and large desks, storage, ottomans... Hotel Motel One Barcelona-Ciutadella

In the Motel One Barcelona-Ciutadella we combine the typical Spanish construction with designer furniture made in the region and natural influences of the flora and fauna of the environment. The result will quickly make you forget that you are really only here to sleep. At the reception, with its characteristic cement tiles, in the comfortable armchairs of the Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola... The natural atmosphere of the nearby park is breathed throughout the hotel. The hanging lamps of the Bocci house are reminiscent of bouquets of flowers; Spanish natural stone flooring adds a rustic touch and a generous outdoor lounge area invites you to linger. More

Chez

Danish designer Rikke Frost shapes the Chez chair with a circular seat. Minimal structure and simple materials give the chair an informal air. The designer’s attention to utility is evident in the way the rolled backrest detail of the side-sit chair meets and is mounted to the metal frame, creating a place to drape or rest the arm. This detail also ensures a firm grip when moving the chair.  Chez is comprised of a side-sit chair, side chair, counter stool and bar stool – each with a round, slightly scooped seat that unifies the series.  The seat bottom is mechanically fastened, allowing one to replace or exchange wood and upholstered seats. Chairs are also available with an upholstered seat and back pad. More

FLOAT Collection

Jamie Stern’s latest designer collaboration with Dutch East Design defies gravity. Seeking to express the negative space between the furniture and the ground, the FLOAT Collection consists of soft, rounded chairs and barstools supported on understated legs. The welded steel frames come in muted tones of painted steel available in black, white, and brass. Inspired by the earth and the sky, they read as colorful, floating clouds. Kettal Showroom

Studio Urquiola redesigned Kettal’s showroom in the center of Barcelona with main intention to highlight its site-specificity while expressing the character of the brand, in order to create a space where the Mediterranean outdoor living is celebrated. Typical Spanish architecture features such as the existing iron structure and the original brick vaults of the ceiling where revealed and emphasized, and traditional typological features like the idea of the patio-courtyard and the extended use of ceramic tiles were introduced. Taking advantage of the double height of the space and in an attempt to unify its 2 levels, the additional architectural elements that were inserted in order to identify the different zones of the showroom were 3 seq... House in Epsom

The prospect of a site with views over Epsom Downs and within a commutable distance of Canary Wharf attracted this client to build a new house next to the RAC’s Woodcote Park golf course. Flanked by recently constructed Georgian-style houses, the new neighbour, designed by Eldridge London, is clearly a building of its time. The two wings of the house are set apart to optimise views and the path of the sun. One wing contains double height living spaces and bedrooms above and accommodation for children and staff below whilst the other wing contains a gymnasium and swimming pool which faces a sunken court space outside. The court in turn leads up to a large expanse of lawn that runs away to the boundary with the golf course beyond. As well as... More
