Cue, Mirror Etch Table
Cue, Mirror Etch Table, 2013, Designed by Jane Briggs & Christy Cole. Executed on silver mirror, the geometric table top patterns experiment with collage and three dimensional semblances as a means to be pressed and repeated onto another surface. Akin to a lithographic printing block, the designs look at the potentiality of creating the sensation of optical depth by cutting and displacing imagery. Through a combination of handcrafted and technological processes, the additive layers within the surfaces include tape, collage and enamel - a process resulting in the implied three dimensionality of a two dimensional image. string® pocket is the smallest version of string®. it comes in a kit of two panels and three shelves – making a small bookcase that will fit in almost anywhere. if you get another kit something interesting will happen: doubling the number of panels more than doubles the possible number of sections, three instead of two. note that string® pocket can also be expanded vertically. string® pocket is already available in various colours, and this year we’re introducing three new choices: copper, raw and ash/white. Sketch side table
The ‘Sketch’ side table collection plays with shape, colour and tactility. Inspired by rough hand sketches, the idea was to keep the sketch feel of the design through to production. “It has led to an exploration into the laser cutting of steel,” says Nikki Kreis. “It’s as if the laser becomes the pencil.”
Made from welded laser-cut steel with a powder coat finish, the ‘Sketch’ side tables are a bold statement combining form and function.

Birdy
Birdy is a table, wall and floor lamp series designed in 1952, in a modernist style. The lamp series was produced and sold by the Norwegian electricity company Sønnico (Oslo) for many years. In 1954 the table lamp, then known as “s-30016” was awarded the highly esteemed Golden Medal at the Milan triennale. In 2013 Northern Lighting decided to re-launch this design classic, taking care to preserve the original shape and highly functional features that at first made it such a well–loved light. The lamp series is available in off-white colour with satin nickel finish and matt black colour with blass metal finish.
