The building to our client is constructed in factory neighborhood. Each facade tells a story of aesthetic emotions linked with each space in terms of its color palate.We tried to blend modern interiors, flooring and plenty of open spaces where you can break away for a change of scenery. Office layout is kept quite simple with central alley leading us to the owner’s cabin. Office space includes main director office, working space with desks, meeting room, and an informal reception area.Exterior elevation of the office is quite unusual with heavy ornamented bracket wooden frame design. The new district ends in a steep slope down towards Karlbergskanalen. MARIN EDUCATIONAL CENTERRibersborgsstranden, MalmöThe marine educational center stretches out along Ribersborgsstranden shore, where city and landscape meet. A concrete floor is laid out level with the sand. Sand from the shore is mixed into the concrete to give it the same color and reflecting qualities. From the floor a constellation of solid volumes rise up to lift the room underneath the massive, reed-covered roof just above the horizon.The interstitial spaces created between the floor, the roof and the volumes open onto the surrounding nature, transmit light and provide visibility through towards the horizon. It can be compared to an archive – layers of time. The building has served as an ammunition factory, paint factory and presently a kunsthalle for contemporary art and architecture.The kunsthalle lies in an area with dense, obsolete industrial buildings, more or less derelict. In the outskirts of Gothenburg, overlooking a beautiful lake surrounded by birch and pine, you find Villa Bondö, a family house with a seamless interior. The volume, clad in larch with a Rheinzink roof, which climbs down and opens up the building towards the lake. The main character of the building is “the church”, a gable-roofed extruded space facing the lake. The closed entrance facade is shielding the view while arriving. Before entering the house you can glimpse the lake through the glassed entrance window and sense the church in the contours of the building. On the Öijared peninsula near Gothenburg, sits Kjellgren Kaminsky Architecture’s Öijared Golf Club Hotel. The building respectfully relates to the existing Golf Club, designed by Gert Wingård in 1988, and the surrounding context. While Wingård’s is dug into the landscape, the new hotel is placed on stilts above ground allowing a close relationship with the forest. Strips of spruce, each with an irregular texture, decorate a deep red façade thus further merging the structure with the surrounding environment. Valle of Bravo, in the estate of México, is famous for its lake and the wonderful landscapes that surround it. Its privileged location and the good climate all year long had turned it into a favorite destination for a holiday home. House L is a great example of the new proyects that haven been developed in the area. The project was developed in a 1,117 meters lot situated at the foot of a crag making the axis the integration to the vicinity and making the most of the views to the lake. The master plan for Cumbres de Santa Fe was developed under the premise that landscape architecture is the one the of the modern urban professions of design and represents a synthesis of art, science and philosophy aiming to take care of the scenery of the earth in a truly holistic, creative and sustainable way. Cumbres de Santa Fe is a development located in an 80 hectares lot in the west of Mexico City. This amazing group of buildings was designed by Juan Pablo Serrano Orozco and Rafael Monjaraz Fuentes in collaboration with Serrano Arquitectos. The construction begun in 2009 and is located in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, México, with an area of 55’700 square meters just in front of the bay. It’s a cultural space of five buildings connected by circulations, the visitors can use to get from one building to another, or just taking a walk. Residential and commercial building that was constructed in three phases. The whole project was conceived as a result of the architectural lines characteristic of the area. The first phase is a 16 level building with a total of 80 apartments with commercial premises on the ground floor combined with a 10 level parking building that already existed in the lot and was just remodeled and reinforce for the new use. The second phase is an 18 level building with 2 underground levels for parking. And the third phase is an 18 and a half levels building with a total of 395 apartments. The location in the lot and design of this house was defined by the importance of natural light in the project. The facades were located according to the movement of light and shadows to help enhance the interior design. The interior are exterior spaces of the house are integrated by the nature elements. All the construction was done in exposed concrete and wood to assure the low maintenance requirements as well as the adequate aging of the space with the natural patina that will acquire with time. More
