Smokehouse is a communal dining pavilion nestled within a shaded grove, conceived as an open-air shelter for meals, gatherings, and community meetings. Adjacent to an outdoor kitchen, the structure offers protection from the elements while remaining open and connected to its surroundings. Designed and built as a community project, the pavilion employs modest materials and simple construction methods. A straightforward A-frame wood structure, clad in cedar shake, rests on a concrete foundation that forms two continuous sunken benches flanking a long communal table. The open-ended form invites movement through the space, while framing views of the grove beyond. Pix Natural light filters through a series of cast glass elements running t... More

Building Modularly The modular timber construction system represents a leading trend in contemporary sustainable architecture. It offers quick production, lightweight yet robust structures, installation without concrete foundations, long lifespan, easy expansion, relocation, and recyclability. These advantages are combined with sophisticated technologies that ensure economic and ecological efficiency and, above all, a healthy living environment. Eko modular showcases the possibilities and advantages of modular architecture at its family and company headquarters in Tvrdonice, South Moravia. The main living area is generously extended, providing the opportunity to enjoy the backyard even on rainy days. The wooden structure thus serves a dual purpose, blurring the boundary between the two zones, while imparting w... More

This is a home improvement project near Valencia for a family with two small children. The buyers were attracted to the house for its location and a land lot on the top of the slope with amazing views in the first place.     We divided work into two fronts: the external and the internal. On the external front, we worked on the façade in order to give the house a fresh look and integrate it into the general style direction. We also rebuilt the pool basin and worked on the landscape.    On the internal front, we dealt with the remodeling of the available space with further decoration to make the house meet the needs and requirements of new owners. In a separate block technical works on a home aut... More
