The client, a traditional Bengali family, envisioned a transformation of their duplex apartment into a modern and contemporary home. Planning a five-bedroom duplex apartment on two floors for a couple and two children who returned to live in Tel Aviv after 15 years in Berlin.  The design challenge was an uncompromising adherence to a proven program with lots of functions that, if it weren't for finding solutions, we wouldn't have been able to start the renovation. Royal Peninsula, a spatial penthouse located in Ho Man Tin equipped with floor-to-ceiling glasses, and a towering ceiling to set off the urban environment outside. Designer created this modern minimal home space filling with a subtle low-saturated color palette and using materials of wood in furniture, wandered around the space with neat and clean lines to give a simple cozy setting. Renovation of aspacious duplex, located in the heart of the historic center of Milan. On the lower floor, living room, kitchen and study are designed as spaces in sequence delimited by full-height glass partitions, which, once opened, leave the perimeter wall free, creating suggestive perspectives that embrace the space in its entirety. This duplex apartment in Tribeca offers breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the downtown Manhattan skyline. Our design sought to preserve the original layout’s open, airy feel while providing privacy for a family of four with two young children. To make the most of the panoramic city views, the layout is carefully organized along the perimeter, with storage and secondary spaces integrated into the apartment's core. When our clients purchased the apartment, it required a substantial renovation to suit their functional needs and accommodate their growing family. Their vision was clear: they wanted an open, flowing space while preserving the original architectural details that defined the apartment’s character. To maximize the space, we positioned the kitchen within a niche that naturally connected to the living areas, creating a loft-like arrangement. We thoughtfully wrapped the kitchen around an awkwardly placed riser volume, carving out private areas within the larger open living spaces.
