Breve means Brief.
Brief. Adjective
lasting or taking a short time; of short duration.
Brief is the coffee you drink in the morning to wake up everyday.
Brief is the nap you take after lunch to recharge and get back to work.
Brief is this intervention, and the duration of such.

Breve (Brief) is a 10 square meter project we designed for Design House 2020 inside Publico Coworking in Mexico City. Because of the location inside a coworking, we wanted to create a space that somehow related to the typology, so we landed on a breakroom, which we understood to be as a refuge of the daily work life, the place where you escape to answer a personal phone call, to get coffee or just take a nap after lunch.

Camelia Tea Room
According to the popular Chinese legend, the discovery of tea was a wonderful coincidence attributed to the Chinese Emperor Sheng Nung, who happened to be resting under the shadows of a wild tree when a light breeze blew a few leafs off the branches and into a bowl of boiling water nearby creating an aromatic infusion which made the Emperor decide to try it and be captivated by its flavour.

Alma de Barro
Talavera has a soul of clay and a ceramic skin.
Processes are usually kept hidden, behind the scenes, without prominence, and thus focused only on the final result, the piece showcased on the shelf, however, Talavera de la Reina believes in stripping the step by step of the process in order to increase the value of the final result.

Many people are involved in the process of each piece, from the person at the bottom of the chain mixing different kinds of clay, to the one putting the pieces inside the ovens at over one thousand degrees in order to achieve the finish, and going through the masters at the potter's wheel, glazing and decoration. Each one of them are key, contributing with heart and talent.
