The headquarters of Suzhou National Square Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. is located in the Xiangcheng Economic Development Zone of Suzhou City. As the office and R&D building of a manufacturing company, it is tasked with the mission of highlighting the individual identity of the company's characteristics and culture. The building consists of a cube and a cylinder, with a total of 9 floors (8 above ground and one underground). 99 COMMONS is a reinvented workshop tower in Tuen Mun designed to revitalize the aging industrial town by gathering a community of young entrepreneurs and creatives. We distilled elements from the surrounding nature, such as the iconic Castle Peak, the blue sky, the tree branches, and the Light Rail, to inform the design and crafts of the façade and lobby interior. The former factory of metal objects Grünwald, built in 1907, was first transformed into a designer furniture store by Matthäus Jiszda in 1981. The building was once again restructured to house the offices of the Viennese branch of Dietrich | Untertrifaller. It has also been enhanced by two floors to offer a penthouse and two spacious apartments. The Freitag factory in Zurich-Oerlikon is housed in the Noerd commercial building designed by Rothen Architektur in 2010. In addition to built-in production facilities and offices for design, logistics and administration, five open floors encompassing 10,000 square metres accommodate over 120 employees. A company canteen and a factory shop have also been added. The design aims to enrich and give more personality to the façade of the Coca Cola factory in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The intervention had to be cost-effective and sustainable: this led up to consider the use of recycled materials. Visiting the site, it is hard not to notice countless red crates ready to contain the Coca Cola bottles, stacked as if they were buildings themselves. So, the idea was to cut them and put them back together as cladding panels, that were hanged onto the concrete façade. Tayor Factory Renovation: Designed by Office ZHU   Tayor Factory Renovation Project is located in Shanghai, China. The factory used to produce welding machine, but now it is abandoned. Our clients find us and expect to transform it into an office campus. The situation of the existing buildings is relatively complicated: after multiple times construction, the inner courtyard becomes tight and crowded, the structure systems are mixed, and the overall facade has poor quality. Meanwhile the interior spaces have far exceeded the requirements for new programs. ​In the old industrial east area of Milano Lambrate, close to Rubattino area, client request to develop the refurbishment of an chemical factory build in last century: the industrial sheds where built between 1920 and 1970 and the main building on the street, the office building, was built at the end of the ‘sixties. The project maintain the original volumetric distribution and give to the compound a new and fresh skin. The main façade is totally redesigned with the addition of geometrical bow windows.
