dMFK’s restoration, repurposing and upgrade of the iconic former wallpaper factory in Chiswick has provided the ailing Arts & Crafts building with a new lease of life. Originally constructed in 1902, the Grade II* Listed Voysey House is the only commercial building designed by celebrated architect C.F.A. Voysey. The five-storey structure was converted into offices following a fire in 1928 and faced piecemeal refurbishments over the years that diluted its identity. Factory office spaces are typically under the heavy influence of the factory itself and become a part the factory, in the case of prefabricated buildings, they sit adjacent to other spaces, often lacking a distinct identity. The primary challenge in this project was determining how to design a factory's office building so that it not only possesses its own unique identity but also serves as a representative symbol of the factory's design. The project brief included designing an extension to the existing factory in a 17.000 sq.m piece of land located at Nazar Abad industrial park. An environmentally responsible office project, focused on recycling and reusing both space and materials.  Developed inside a former textile factory from the first half of the twentieth century, Oficinas Leonali seeks to revive a disused space by giving another essence to the place. Caption The project takes advantage of and rescues the original structure of the factory, adapting the building to create a new use and atmosphere within the space. With the increasing popularity of the plant-based lifestyle, Buono, a leading brand of plant-based food and dessert, wished to expand their factory and office buildings in Nakhon Pathom province.  DOF Skygorund The three new buildings are positioned laterally to each other while in parallel with the existing warehouse structure on site. Building A is situated in juxtaposition with the existing reservoir closest to the perimeter of the property.
