Bekkan by Esina

Located in Arcadia Senayan, South Jakarta, Bekkan by Esina was conceived as the next evolution of an established Japanese restaurant brand. The project challenged conventional expectations of Japanese restaurant interiors by moving away from familiar minimalist aesthetics and instead introducing a sophisticated dialogue between European classical design and Japanese hospitality. The owner's ambition was to create a dining destination that clearly distinguished itself from its existing restaurants while expressing a more refined and premium identity. Rather than relying on overt thematic elements, the design communicates this transformation through spatial composition, material richness, and carefully crafted architectural details. The gue... nishiki japanese restaurant

When we first visited the site, we knew Nishiki should feel different from a typical suburban Japanese restaurant. Instead of recreating a traditional izakaya, we wanted to create an atmosphere that felt contemporary, warm, and memorable while still respecting Japanese culture. Joe Shengyuan Zhou, EZ Media Production Joe Shengyuan Zhou, EZ Media Production Joe Shengyuan Zhou, EZ Media Production Joe Shengyuan Zhou, EZ Media Production The defining feature became the suspended timber ceiling. Surprisingly, its inspiration came from something very ordinary — stacks of lumber commonly seen on construction sites. We were fascinated by the rhythm created by seemingly random timber pieces, and transformed that observati... More

NAVAN NAVAN CNX

This concrete edifice stands as a fine-dining sanctuary in Maerim, Chiangmai. Jirayu Rattanawong Jirayu Rattanawong Jirayu Rattanawong Jirayu Rattanawong Jirayu Rattanawong The architectural vision was clear: to carve a cave amid the panoramic expanse, following a straightforward blueprint. Flow

Flow is a fine dining experience alongwith being a lounge and a microbrewery, designed inside a premium mall in South Delhi. The existing site was a bunch of broken up spaces dotted with oddly placed structural columns which we tied up using framed arches placed parallel to each other. This helped us divide the restaurant into various sections yet maintaining a visual and functional fluidity.  Sajati Bhadouria Sajati Bhadouria Flow is designed over a 9000 sqft of floor space with 3500 sqft of alfresco dining over the terrace which through a use of smartly placed wooden canopies lined at the edges alongwith abundance of natural greens, adds a contrast to the cavernous interior by opening up to infinite sunset views for perfec... Our photography took place right after opening. Upon stepping in the front door of Shake, visitors are invited to travel back in time into an environment similar to a soul music supper-club in 1960’s New York. The oval shaped marble bar is one of the central features of the space. Uneven floor heights allow guests at both the front and the back of the bar to have unblocked vie... More
