Baiersbronn Bridge

Moxon Architects and IB Miebach have completed an innovative, sustainable timber and concrete composite bridge for the town of Baiersbronn in southern Germany.  Baiersbronn Bridge strengthens connections within the town’s central area, while enhancing the landscape along the scenic Murg River. The bridge forms the showpiece of the region’s 2025 garden show, which covers 8km across Baiersbronn and Freudenstadt. CASTLE PARK FOOTBRIDGES

The Castle Park Footbridges project in Bedburg is located in the middle of the town center and directly adjoins the main shopping area. The city of Bedburg wants to clearly emphasize the relationship to the Erft River in Bedburg's inner city as well as making the proximity to the water tangible and to create new connections. For this to be achieved, new bridges will be built at the rear of the old town hall and at the southern end of the castle parking lot in the south. The Rocky River Residence was conceived as an “upside down” house, with the main living areas situated on the upper level in order to capitalize on the site’s spectacular views of the downtown Austin skyline. This project is integrated into a suburban housing environment. Located in the Rue des Chantereines in the city of Montreuil, the site of the project faces housing blocks typical from the sixties which heights goes from five to ten stories. On the other hand, the inner borders of the parcel are surrounded with houses and their gardens.   COOPIMMO is our client. It is cooperative for affordable housing, that has become one of the first producer of social accommodations with a renting-purchasing system. Charter Street Footbridge, Leicester

This scheme involved the design and construction of a five-metre-wide pedestrian and cycle bridge across the Grand Union Canal in Leicester. The bridge leads from outside of the Leicester Riders Morningside Arena on Charter Street to the city's flagship openspace Abbey Park. The bridge's design allows for the transit of large numbers of people, whilst providing adequate span and freeboard to clear the waterway and towpath. Waalhaven footbridge

For decades, the marshalling yard has been a barrier for pedestrians wanting to get to the Waalhaven port. This bridge now finally nullifies the barrier, while creating a safer location in the process, as before people used to cross the tracks on foot.The presence of the marshalling yard is key in the slender design. Because trains are only allowed to travel at very low speed, there is basically no risk of collisions. Therefore, the bridge does not have to be able to withstand collision loads, which has resulted in a very slender bridge structure.Furthermore, the choice of structure also contributes to the slenderness.Deck and railings work together as a U-shaped structure, which reduces the deck height. Heidekamp Park footbridge Stein

This 76-metre long steel footbridge crosses a railway and cables track and provides access to a park packed with recreational possibilities.To fit in with its natural surroundings, we chose a simple and elegant structure, that’s iconic yet transparent.The bridge has a singular steel Y-shaped pylon that stands a cool 24 meters tall. Arganzuela Footbridge

The burying underground of the highway that ran along the river banks of the Manzanares river provided the opportunity to openup a new urban territory to the inhabitants of Madrid: the Manzanares Park. A series of bridges over the river will allow crossing from oneside of the park to the other. Designed to link the neighborhoods on the right and left banks of the river, the Arganzuela Footbridge will be thelongest of all the bridges to be built.
