Located in the historic Oliver Cromwell Building, The W72nd penthouse inhabits the top three floors of the historic building in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. With commanding views of Central Park, it’s an awe-inspiring refuge from the frenetic pace of NYC. The clients, a financier and a tech entrepreneur, one from Pakistan and the other a Detroit native, longed for a cozy retreat to counterbalance their busy lifestyle. LOTUS DOME is a living dome made out of hundreds of smart flowers which fold open in response to human behavior. Placed in Zedekiah Cave under the walls of the Old City in Jerusalem, where King Solomon kept his quarries, LOTUS DOME creates an interactive play of light and shadow.
Architect Daan Roosegaarde says: "Lotus Dome functions as a mediator, connecting elements of architecture and nature, of the past and the future”.

Inspired by the celebrated English writer Agatha Christie (fittingly, the light’s structure somewhat resembles the author’s wavy coiffure), the Agatha lamp is sculptural, physical and versatile. Le Nuage is a suspended light object in the form of - and with the character of - a cloud.
The exterior is made of polyester wadding, formed in such a way that there is a difference in light permeability. On the inside, the energy-saving lightbulb is surrounded by a plastic shell which has been specially treated to create a diffuse light with various colour variegations.
This gives the light object the character of a cloud through which the sun is shining. Le Nuage creates both ambient and functional light. Each cloud is handmade and one of a kind.

“Curly My Light” has structural lightnes and iconical look. This kind of shapes gives you really fantastic shadows! Although the basic outlines follows conventional lamp form, the materiality and structure do not. The shade and base are woven into one, minus the solidity we’ve become accustomed to with each of these elements. The lamp cord is no longer an unrelated extremity but instead more or less spirals into the lamp itself. The loops and curls sketch out the form of a traditional table lamp.
