By the bed it stands tall and provides good lighting for reading or atmosphere. On a desk it stands in the corner, takes very little desk space. As an atmosphere light it could be placed on a counter top, bar, by the sofa.. The lampshade comes in Black as a default but can be: Turquoise / Deep Red / White / Light Green / Aluminum finish with no coating. The base is padded to protect your surface from scratches. A great desk lamp or bedside lamp that has a quiet stance and does its work proudly. Kozo Monk can connect to the surface from its base and can also be wired directly from the bottom to a connector on the surface (bar, shelf, bedside table...)
