What If the Structure Is the Architecture? Enlevo House, in Paraná, Brazil, was commissioned by a couple of entrepreneurs. They asked for a residence that would provide complete privacy from the neighbors, a spacious, functional, a naked architecture. In addition to the large glazed openings and exposed concrete, the layout of the spaces contributes to a fluid circulation. Nube 7 café has been operating since 2008 within the Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo, a cultural and artistic space in Mexico City designed by the renowned architect Teodoro González de León. During the museum’s 15th anniversary,  there was an intention to renovate some of its facilities, the restaurant was among those. After analyzing the requirements, a project was developed that offered a fresh, contemporary, and renewed image, while also addressing operational challenges and taking advantage of opportunities for functional improvement. As in many renovation projects, the existing building becomes an active partner in the design process. Alongside the wishes of the clients, the project engages with the logic, character and potential of the building itself, allowing it to inform the transformation. In this case, the intervention responds to the specific conditions of the site. As the building is positioned along the edge of the plot, this condition opened up the possibility to consider the side façade as the main façade, rather than the traditional front elevation. The Indigo Office is a 149 m² workspace located on the ground floor of one of Indigo’s own residential buildings in Prishtina. Designed for a construction-driven architecture practice, the project translates the firm’s identity into a calm, material-led environment shaped by clarity, precision, and restraint. The concept is based on revealing what already exists: exposed concrete ceilings, textured grey plaster, and visible construction joints form the primary architectural language, expressing honesty and craftsmanship.
