Icon SOC's Clinic at Glenagles Hospital provides consultation, counseling and support for patients and caregivers. Spatial efficiency was considered to maximise natural light for well being, as well as providing a neutral base palette of finishes. Subtle accents from the brand colours and graphics are featured throughout the interior. More

In the heart of Ginza, a premium office building brings together 2 divisions of global travel tech company, Amadeus. A central collaboration space encourages further casual interactions, and extends to the corner cafe that offers panorama skyline views. In 2018, the professional training agency “Immaginazione e Lavoro” converted the school Istituto Sant’Anna in Moncalieri, on the outskirts of the city of Turin, into a professional training centre for graphic designers and electronic technicians. This abandoned school building needed urgent repair. To juggle budget constraints, the project decided to focus on preserving the parts which were still structurally sound, thus reducing construction work to a minimum and relying instead on décor, graphics and communication. Because their current office became too small, this mobility company, decided to move to Amersfoort. A perfect moment to find a location that radiates what they do: ‘making mobility easy’. They found a perfect spot: an office near the train station! We did not design an average office, but an office that feels like a New York loft, including the industrial atmosphere that goes with it. An office where the team feels at home and where they can proudly welcome their customers. What this looks like? We started with a refreshing combination of homeliness with an industrial character. Schouten Zekerheid, an independent broker in insurances for consumers and businesses, institutions, and sector and professional organisations, is growing. This growth has made expanding into new office space unavoidable. Since 1997, Schouten Zekerheid has been housed in the Schouten Toren at the foot of the Van Brienenoord Bridge. The building is known for its prominent New York-style skyscraper silhouette on the city skyline. Schouten Zekerheid added some floors to its occupancy of the building, and DZAP designed a modern and minimalist interior with abundant daylight for it, entirely in keeping with the classic profile of the tower. Designed by Metcalfe in collaboration with the staff of BBG and with landscape architects at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, the new Discovery Garden seeks to enhance visitors’ experiences with interpretive activities and learning opportunities. Danone Nutricia Research has opened a new innovation centre in Utrecht. With this new building, Danone will gather together the research activities carried out in the Netherlands, Germany and Great Britain, and give them the space to grow. The new innovation centre was designed by the architect’s office Cepezed and developed by OVG at the Utrecht Science Park. The building has received the BREEAM design certificate for excellence. Danone was assisted by AOS Studley in the development of the concept. The interior concept was shaped by interior architect Chris Pachen. Project On December 4th, 2013, NUON took over use of the existing 27,500m2 multi-storeyed building in Amsterdam South-East. This building which is called ‘New Amsterdam’ is now the headquarters of N.V. NUON Energy in the Netherlands. The renovation of the building can be described as very significant and thorough: both the exterior and interior have been completely redone except for the concrete skeleton: open spaces have been arranged across several floors in the building, and a sixth floor has been added to the building. The “Egizio Aperto” project, conceived in collaboration with Zoppoli&Pulcher, develops through an integrated system of diffused interventions, as a sort of centripetal force: from the city to the block, to the building up inside the museum itself. The objective is to transform the needs and modification of a restoration project into communication opportunities, still allowing the visit of the museum together with a clear and univocal reading of the change in course.
