Residence in Penteli
The interiors of the house in Penteli were designed with the aim of creating an atmosphere of balance and austerity. The purity of the forms and the materials are the main tools in achieving the objectives of the study. In addition, a central element in the design of the house is the centrally placed single staircase. The composition of indoor plantings form the “soft core” of the house. In the whole design, the constructions defining the space are integrated in the design and materiality in the white perimeter shell or emerge as autonomous protagonists with distinct morphology and materiality.

The modern villa is located on the outskirts of the city of Karditsa, in Thessaly. The characteristics of the place were a great inspiration. In general, the design of the building refers to two axes. The semi-urban environment of the city and the natural landscape with the rich mountainous terrain. The prismatic design of the volumes, are a strong architectural reference to the mountainous landscape of the region. An attempt to integrate an urban villa to its natural surroundings.

Piraeus Tower
Originally completed in 1975 but left largely unoccupied for decades, Piraeus Tower stood as a symbol of unfinished ambition at the port of Piraeus. Rising 88 meters, the building's concrete shell was long known as the "sleeping giant" of the port. Its recent transformation into a contemporary mixed-use tower marks a major shift in both architectural and urban terms. Led by PILA, the project reactivates the structure through a comprehensive facade retrofit and reprogramming of common spaces, aligning it with the broader regeneration of Piraeus as a dynamic, livable district.

The plot is in the southern part of Paros Island. It has a southwest orientation on the long side, overlooking the sea, the bay of Aliki, and Antiparos. In Athens, Greece, a once tired and run-down office building has been given a new lease of life by London- and Athens-based multidisciplinary architecture practice Neiheiser Argyros. Built in 1983, the six-story office building was a confusion of irregular geometric forms. Stripping the building back to its structural bones, Neiheiser Argyros creatively reimagined the ramshackle office as a smart, modern-day workspace.
