On a gently sloping site in Paros, two new single-storey residences are carefully embedded into the Cycladic landscape. Designed by Constantine Bouras Studio, the project occupies a plot of 11,060 sqm and explores how contemporary domestic architecture can coexist with the scale, materiality, and spatial logic of the island without resorting to literal references. The interiors of the house in Penteli were designed with the aim of creating an atmosphere of balance and austerity. The purity of the forms and the materials are the main tools in achieving the objectives of the study. In addition, a central element in the design of the house is the centrally placed single staircase. The composition of indoor plantings form the “soft core” of the house. Niché dans la baie d'Agios Stefanos, le Omeon Mykonos se trouve à seulement dix minutes de la ville de Mykonos. Inspiré par l'allure intemporelle du minimalisme cycladique, cet hôtel cinq étoiles incorpore harmonieusement les formes myconéennes, notamment dans les délicats claustra qui ornent son extérieur. Le terrain se trouve dans la partie sud de l'île de Paros. Il est orienté sud-ouest sur le côté long, avec vue sur la mer, la baie d'Aliki et Antiparos. Le bâtiment repose sur le flanc de la colline et s'adapte à la topographie et à la morphologie du terrain. De grands murs transversaux pénètrent la pente.
