Corte Interna

A complex of three stone-built buildings is located west of the city of Chania in the village of Kalivani, near Balos. Built on a plot of 420 sq.m., the buildings, measuring 220 sq.m., are arranged around an inner courtyard with water as the connecting element between the building volumes. Pointed arches, doorways with semicircular or low-arched lintels reveal the Venetian imprint on Cretan architecture. George Anastasakis The two-story building is the first one you encounter as you enter from the main road of the village. The ground floor accommodates the living areas and a bedroom with its own bathroom. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a WC. Horizon House

In the heart of the Cycladic landscape, where the land meets the horizon and the sea breathes the history of centuries, Horizon House was born. An Net Zero Energy Emmisions (NZEB) residence that "plays" with the visual escape toward the horizon, aiming not to impose itself but to integrate seamlessly into its surroundings. Rather than being a mere construction, Horizon House is an experience—an architectural composition shaped by the rhythms of the land, the wind, and the sea.It weaves a dialogue between nature and human intervention. The building "sinks" into the ground, following the natural contour of the terrain, while the stone facades and the earthy volumes evoke the sense of a geological formation rising from the earth. The lin... More

Rodias Terra

Rodias Terra, Stories from the Rhodian Land The inspiration and foundation of this project stem from the land itself and the stories of its people. Vacation House in an Olive Grove

On the eastern part of the Greek island of Naxos, amidst an primitive landscape, far away from the saturation of tourism, a simple single story vacation house was built within the confines of a deserted olive grove. Iakovos Theodoros Apeiranthitis   The composition consists of a simple, rectangular form in which a frugal, linear program was embedded, designed to fit the needs of the owner and her family. The only interruption in the form is the exterior shower, forming a boundary between private and public, protecting the bedrooms from the more extroverted living room. Iakovos Theodoros Apeiranthitis A main consideration for the design was the relationship between interior and exterior spaces, which remains strong, regardl... More

Helikon Shipping Offices

In the center of the seaside suburb of Glyfada, are the headquarters of Helikon Shipping, a shipping company with a rich heritage since 1961. Today Helikon is low profile company, of high standards, professionally and culturally related to Japan. The total number of employees at its headquarters amounts to 25 people. Accordingly, Urban Soul Project was asked to design a space with a notion to Japan, incorporating a subtle use of color. As a result, the contemporary design approach of the office articulates a distinct design language, which nevertheless foresees the integration of elements from Helikon's past, as well as the cultural and professional relationship with Japan. ERGON Bakehouse

Ergon Bakehouse: Living in a Bakery A place for making and baking pastries, a retail space, an eatery, and finally a hotel, all in the heart of Athens. Ergon Bakehouse is a hospitality project, unified by the enticing aroma and colours of dough—a semiotic symbol of care. From the entrance to the rooms, the design of Urban Soul Project revolves around the life cycle of the dough and the ambiance of a traditional Bakery. Ergon Bakehouse is a multifaceted culinary and hospitality destination that celebrates the art of baking. It is located in the historic center of Athens near Syntagma Square, within a listed building designed by architect Vassilis Tsagris in the early 20th century. Belleview Apartment

The Belleview apartment is located in a typical 1960s multistorey building on Thessaloniki’s seafront. Its original design exhibited the era’s architectural characteristics: narrow corridors, continuous constricted balconies, and small balcony doors, lacking comfort and a connection to the environment.  Kim Powell Photography Kim Powell Photography The new apartment was tailored for a young family seeking a closer link with the coastal surroundings, aiming to evoke a sun-white washed effect within the living space and to challenge the traditional arrangement of the 1960s. Technopolis auditorium

Design and construction supervision by architect Ioulietta Zindrou The design of the Auditorium is based on the conception of the space as a complex, though elegant “acoustic device”.  We crafted the space into a dynamic field through design innovations, technological applications and material processes in construction and management, towards an optimal passive acoustic space performance  Through advanced design, sound calculus and construction technology, algorithmic and material processes, a ceaseless dynamism between sculpturing and engineering emerged.  Caption Conceptually the auditorium was conceived as a place of creation and offer of cultural experiences, and is inextricably linked to visually rec... Full Moon / Hotel complex in Zakynthos Island

Inspiration for the concept of the hotel came from the famous painting Full Moon by the artist Yannis Moralis. The painting is a superb example of advanced geometric abstraction, distinguished by solid compositional structure, purity of form, harmonious proportions and dynamic rhythm of flowing curvilinear themes and interlocking patterns. Both the geometric shapes of the composition and the colour palette of the painting were used in the design of the hotel. iraisynn attinom studio iraisynn attinom studio iraisynn attinom studio Yannis Moralis was a multifaceted art figure who was received many distinctions in Greece and abroad. neo hut / Hotel complex in an olive garden

In the last century, during the summer time, crossing the plains and the seashore of the island of Zakynthos, one encountered different variations of an interesting ephemeral architectural form, the primitive stilt hut. This construction primarily functioned as an observation unit during agricultural work, and later as a pleasant and cool place for the residents to stay during the summer. Basic elements of the architectural composition are found in these constructions, such as the grid, the overlapping placement of similar elements, the openings towards north and east, the placement of the volume on piles for enhancing the cooling of the construction with the aim of the local winds etc. These principles influenced us for the design of the t... Hospitality complex in Ancient Corinth

The plot is located near the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth, where prehistoric, Hellenistic and Roman findings have been discovered. The area has also been designated as a protected ecosystem, due to the bushy Mediterranean vegetation and fauna.  Caption   On that 2200 sqm plot, a hotel of 1000 sqm is going to be built. The main objectives of the design are the protection from the northwest winds, the view towards Acrocorinth, as well as the accomplishment of privacy among the residents.
