The ERGON Beach House occupies a 11,500-square-meter site along Chalkidiki’s eastern coast, adjacent to the sea and the village of Nikiti. The development stretches parallel to the coastline, boasting a 100-meter frontage. It comprises a variety of accommodations including cabins and tents, alongside essential amenities such as a restaurant, F&B areas, an outdoor cinema, and a gym.
The architectural design emphasizes the use of materials, including stone, wood, and plaster, ensuring a harmonious blend with the local context. The natural environment has been pivotal in shaping the layout, with existing trees and plantation carefully preserved to provide natural shading and enhance privacy.
Each unit is strategically oriented to maximize natural ventilation from the sea while minimizing direct sun exposure. Spatially, the site is organized into zones that transition seamlessly from public to private, achieved through the use of dense vegetation. The design of the interiors incorporates elements like suspended equipment with straps, open wardrobes, perforated fabrics, and screens.
The accommodations thus embody a refined camping and glamping aesthetic, characterized by the use of natural materials that facilitate a connection with the outdoors, all while providing contemporary amenities.
