Park Residence

Park Residence is a residential building located in the heart of Sofia, between the vibrant city center and the serene expanse of Holy Trinity Park. This prime location brought a unique set of challenges for the architectural team: designing a building that is both visually engaging and functionally efficient, integrating the building into the urban environment, and fostering a harmonious connection with the park. A key challenge for the architects at IPA was the complexity of the site. Situated in a bustling, high-traffic neighborhood, the project needed to strike a balance between the dynamic urban environment and the residents’ need for privacy and comfort. The building's close proximity to Holy Trinity Park required a sensitive d... More

ECO-SUSTAINABILITY AND CONFORT OF WORKERS, THROUGH THE USE OF NATURAL LIGHT AND THE INSERTION OF A GREEN GALLERY INSIDE A FACTORY. Garden City Cavite

The Garden City conceptualizes the use of open areas as gardens with vertically-stacked residential units with greenery hanging vertically through architectural elements. The idea is to return the area occupied by the residential towers in the form of elevated green spaces and pocket green spaces, which creates sightlines and softens edges of the buildings. This allows the development to achieve a high percentage in open or green spaces. The strategic placement of towers between each other allows cross ventilation and promotes passive cooling. Mandarin orchards along the eastern and western wind paths serve as breaks. With varying levels of elevations and open spaces that maximize the vista, the garden city creates a refreshing atmosphere n... More

District Court Klagenfurt

With its three plinth floors and five upper storeys the courthouse is the focus of the site. The three floors in the plinth serve as a “distributor” with a three-storey hall and an impressive entrance area. Together with the site boundary they establish a building line that defines the adjoining street space on Feldkirchner Strasse. The cross-section of the area between the courthouse and the elongated office and commercial building allows an arcade-type situation to develop that connects the forecourt to the north with the planted area to the south of the building. Whereas the square to the north of the court building is intended as a car-park for the supermarket and serves as a buffer zone to Feldkirchner Strasse for the office area... More
