Kreuzgasse

A strikingly elegant landmark development. A corner plot with a number of older buildings at the junction of Stadtstraße and Kreuzgasse – a strategically significant location on the edge of Dornbirn city centre – was scheduled for redevelopment and a striking newbuild. The result is a solid, upmarket construction that sets its stamp on the surrounding urban fabric. The height of the polygonal structure, which comprises two linked volumes, descends in staggered levels from its high point on the city side to the two-storey connecting section. The mid-rise blocks form a U-shape that extends towards the rear of the plot with the dominant eight-storey corner volume nudging the weight of the development towards the road junction... More

DIEU

At the intersection of three urban zones — Laeken's old neighborhoods to the east and west, and the maritime district to the south — Dieudonné Lefèvre Street serves as a boundary, adjacent to Tour & Taxis park. This mixed context, both residential and industrial, is marked by a large warehouse next to the project, framed by a blank wall. The project, oriented north-south, maximizes natural light while preventing overheating. The former apartment of three consecutive rooms is reimagined as a two-bedroom space, focused on its connection to a private garden. Life Down A Lane

Life Down A Lane is exactly that: a home for the daily life of a family, strengthened by security and softened by greenery, in the inner-urban heartland of Richmond. Providing a refuge from the laneway outside, the floorplan elevates the living-dining-kitchen area to achieve more sunlight and privacy. A central outdoor space is the focal point of the home, with spaces configured to look inward. Tom Ross Tom Ross Tom Ross Tom Ross Tom Ross Tom Ross Tom Ross While living spaces are on the first floor, the ground is dedicated to bedrooms — a master with an ensuite and two child bedrooms with a shared bathroom — with the courtyard as a buffer between these two zones. New Avenue - Residential Development

New Avenue — Residential Development at Avenue of United Europe in Żory The planned multi-family residential development is a contemporary response to the needs of the city's residents: comfortable apartments, safe shared spaces, and a structured urban layout that builds genuine neighbourhoods — not just an "address." The scheme comprises 6 nine-storey residential buildings with 2 levels of underground parking. The buildings are grouped into three pairs, each connected by internal recreational courtyards located on the rooftops of the garage sections. This arrangement clearly separates traffic zones from areas of relaxation, while providing residents with a green, intimate "heart" at the centre of each cluster. MUS ARCHITEC... More

Urban Treehouse

This project explores the potential to create an urban oasis with the design of the home’s architecture and interiors. This residence is located in a densely-populated neighborhood and its design incorporates a series of indoor-outdoor spaces, connecting the home to its urban context while serving as a sanctuary for the owner and guests. With the design and construction of this project, modern architecture was achieved and introduced unobtrusively into this established community context. Kerri Fukui We were motivated to demonstrate that value can be found in great design at a small scale. The area’s residential real estate market has been increasingly driven by attributing value to scale, resulting in massive, underutilize... More
