The sports ground is located on the Volga River embankment in the historic center of Samara. The concept aimed to create a unique sports zone for the city, dividing the expansive territory into distinct functional areas that promote comprehensive physical and aesthetic development for visitors while encouraging active participation in the city’s social life.

The Core Idea
What sets this sports ground apart is its custom-designed outdoor fitness equipment, including branded ping-pong tables, sun loungers, bench-table combos, and shaded rest areas. In collaboration with a local Samara artist, a distinctive asphalt pattern was developed to serve as both a visual landmark and a zoning tool.

About the Project
The vibrant sports complex features dedicated zones for yoga, weight training, boxing, calisthenics, tennis, and parkour. Functional zoning is emphasized through dynamic color schemes. The design studio also created wayfinding systems tailored to the athletic aesthetic. The demand for innovative creative clusters emerged as a key theme during public discussions about the future of the site.
