Neya Porto Hotel

The building is located partly at the old Convent of Madre Deus of Monchique, and the old industrial warehouses that have their first reference of settlement since the XVI century. The whole building is a couple steps away from Alfandega, in Oporto historic centre, classified as UNESCO World Heritage since 1996. KNITTED

  A series of lightings that combines technology with tradition. Knitting wool threads in fixed patterns creates a three-dimensional sheet of fabric which serves as a lighting fixture. The project was born from a collaboration between the designers Ariel Zuckerman and  Oded Sapir . The process of developing the fabric, with the aid of textile designer Adva Bruner, led to the combination of an industrial knitted fabric with a handmade crochet detail. Fitting the fabric onto a rigid skeletal structure creates a light fixture with an organic feel and a rich colourfulness.   More

Raffles Europejski Warsaw

The building was designed by Enrico Marconi an Italian architect from Poland and was inaugurated in 1858, becoming one of the most modern and luxurious hotels in Europe.The hotel structure was gravely damaged during the second World War and was then part of a big reconstruction project.
