The Longbush Ecosanctuary Welcome Shelter is an innovative environmental education space designed, constructed and operated by a group of passionate volunteers, with the support of local businesses and charitable organisations. Access to the Welcome Shelter is free of charge for all visitors and the project aims to promote active stewardship of our natural environment both in conservation areas and in our cities. The project was generated and designed by the award winning designer Sarosh Mulla. Mr Mulla’s current doctoral research focuses on creating innovative forms of architecture for the New Zealand tourism industry, while continuing to promote the role of the architect as a leader within communities. Revitalization of an old dairy farm (1909) as media agency hub   The client and user, the owner-managed media agency UNBOUND MEDIA, founded in 1997, has set itself the goal of being the most socially sustainable employer for a creative workflow and also operating its offices in a virtually climate-neutral way. Jan Ladwig The HUGO building was designed in 1909 on an almost square floor plan and was initially used as a dairy farm. Following war damage, the original structure was partially altered, including the large windows being bricked up to standard size. This is what AutoZubak Neostar set out to prove, and with the help of Brigada, succeeded in building what is likely the first auto dealership integrating online and offline sales of used cars in this region, in Velika Gorica. Instead of in the parking lot, here the used cars are placed in a specially designed environment which uses an omnichannel approach to sales. In this technologically contemporary designed space, banking services are adapted to modern needs of the client, and the “fast-paced” location within the shopping center. Visitors to the center, regardless of whether they are clients of Addiko bank or not, can realize transactions through a short and uncomplicated process, open an account, and even raise a loan up to 5,000 euros within just 30 minutes, all on their own or with the help of the staff available at the location.
