We try to leave no inert areas by giving creative solutions to each and every corner while meeting with the corporate needs of our client, Marsh McLennan and following and enhancing their brief. Edward Valentine (1838-1930) was a renowned Beaux Arts sculptor and a key figure in the Lost Cause mythology that permeated the nation after the Civil War through his portraiture of the Confederacy leadership. He was prolific with stone sculptures, plaster casts for home settings, and monumental bronzes of Confederate leadership in public venues, including Stonewall Jackson on Richmond's Monument Avenue and Robert E. Lee in the state's capital. Valentine also produced racist sculptures of local black people with exaggerated features.
