Biassono Primary School
The project for the new primary school in Biassono reimagines the educational environment as an open and inclusive civic space, capable of fostering learning, social interaction, and community life. Phive
Phive is much more than a Library. It is an exceptional public and cultural facility filled with community and exhibition spaces as well as the City of Parramatta’s Council Chamber. A new city landmark and a place where locals and visitors can meet, discover, learn and share.
Around this multidisciplinary program, the design is infused with innovation and sensitivity. Its shape is sculpted within the angle of the winter sun plane, respecting access to sunlight in the public square all year round. The roof takes on a slight curve to the top of the new civic spire, with colours moving from bright to pale at the top, allowing the building to feel like it is reaching into the clouds.

The Marechiaro project is a shelving unit / a screen / a palisade / an architecture / a domestic landscape that questions the traditional use of the bookshelf and its presence in space. The system is a screen-cabinet which on one side is aimed at storing books and objects that are dear to us, and on the other side is a screen made up of wooden slats assembled in openwork to maintain a certain transparency. DIA Dittel Architekten is responsible for the high-quality refurbishment and redesign of the Heilbronn City Library in the lively cultural and shopping centre Theaterforum K3. After a two-year restructuring phase, the library has been given a new lease of life and provides a forum for communication and encounters with modern, contemporary architecture.

Our approach to the design of a new library for the Cricket Club Of India has been informed by our thoughts on what a library in the information age must do. In increasingly digital times, fewer people than ever visit libraries - and those that do, don’t stay, but only come to take/ return books. As the need to physically access books diminishes, the library must be seen as a house of knowledge rather than a house of books. This means activating the space by providing for exchange of ideas between people through activities. Social interaction will give people a reason to visit, and more importantly stay in the library.

La Casa de la Lectura de Segovia
In 2016, the old city of Segovia had around 2,500 inhabitants and experienced a continuous population decline. Due to this decrease, the neighborhood was left with almost no social infrastructure. The library, hospital, elementary school, and many other public services abandoned the area, leaving its residents with limited cultural, health, or social resources.

The Neubiberg secondary school in the greater Munich area consists of two building blocks with an elongated entrance and school courtyard between them. At the end point of this courtyard is the school's main entrance. The library of the town of Dornbirn was designed as an inter-generational sharing, meeting and learning space. It promotes reading and the practice of languages, the exploration of computerized research methods and new forms of communication.
