A New Vision for Biassono Primary School

The project for the new primary school in Biassono reimagines the educational environment as an open and inclusive civic space, capable of fostering learning, social interaction, and community life. Conceived as more than a traditional school building, the proposal integrates educational spaces with public functions, creating a contemporary hub for both students and citizens.

The architectural concept is organized around a clear and legible spatial structure, designed to encourage orientation, interaction, and flexibility. Educational areas are complemented by shared facilities, including a municipal library conceived as a place for reading, study, and collective participation, strengthening the relationship between the school and the wider community.

Particular attention is given to sports and extracurricular activities through the inclusion of dedicated facilities for artistic roller skating, providing specialized spaces capable of accommodating both educational and community uses. The project aims to create an active and dynamic environment where education, culture, and physical activity coexist within a unified architectural vision.

The architectural language balances functionality, openness, and identity, with spaces designed to maximize natural light, accessibility, and the quality of everyday experience. The result is a contemporary educational and civic landmark — a place where learning extends beyond the classroom and becomes part of collective urban life.

Secondo me questa funziona bene su Archello perché sembra un progetto professionale/editoriale e valorizza molto la parte biblioteca comunale + pattinaggio artistico, che ti distingue da una semplice scuola.
